Or

"I wish the Knicks would draft some young players and develop them"

Knicks don't play them

"The 19 yr old is not better than the 10 year guys in front of them right now so they shouldn't play"
"Development has nothing to do with playing time. As long as you do good on the practice court, that's all that matters"
"IDC if he plays b/c he was pick ____ "

either you want the development or you don't. Don't make excuses when the Knicks don't do it

I think it’s pretty solid offseason if Perry got free agents that understand they are here to push the development of our young guys.. sounds like Portis understands that he is playing behind Mitch, Knox and Morris will probably compete for that other starting spot but I can’t see starting RJ as a rookie and demoting Knox after a year doing the same.. I think this year it’s short leash season with Perry’s Yutes till they get it..

young guys glued to the bench and we aren’t winning is unacceptable

Pretty much your last sentence. It’s not like we sacrifice the kids b/c we’re a playoff team. We can’t say f the kids give me 30 wins by the vets.

Dotson
Iggy
Knox...

That's 8 dudes right there that could break out. Em betting 2 do...and that would be fantastic. If 3 or 4 breakout....

I like their potential but they need more time to grow. The youth on our team is still so very young and none of them are considered franchise players yet. Even 2nd year guys like Mitch and Knox are maybe a year or two away from being a legit starter on a good team. I want to see improvement this season but expectations shouldn't be super high.

I'd say

RJ
Randle
Knox
DSJ
Mitch

For my top 5. We have depth for youth, but nothing amazing. RJ has good potential, but not superstar potential, and I love Mitch but he doesn't have that high of potential on offense. Then DSJ/Knox/Randle are all fringe All Star potential

Which is why I say we really need another top pick this year
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

The good thing about our youth is that most, for me, have pretty defined floors for what they're going to be which is always helpful in determining their value. If I had to peg it based on mixture of floor and ceiling, I think I would go:

Randle
RJ
DSJ
Mitch
Trier

Strictly Ceiling:

DSJ
Mitch
RJ
Randle
Knox
