4 pm home opener is fine for me but still an odd time. The Monday 10/28 game against Cleveland will probably be the cheapest ticket.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not sure if a factor. But that home opener is same day at UW at OSU football. Presumably that will be a night game. So maybe trying to avoid overlap. But maybe just some kind of scheduling conflict, who knows.

Cue Warriors and Lakers fans bitching about not being able to watch games that early because of traffic.

That's possible. They may also want to avoid a potential Brewers home playoff game as they had last year for the home opener. Although it's unlikely the Brewers will make the playoffs.

Haven't dug in yet: How does the number of back to backs compare to previous years and other teams? Do we play any Eastern team only 3x?

Rough start. 8 of 10 vs playoff teams?

Also a 4pm home opener blows for 1 reason. We know our teams sucks when they play early time slots. :(

From my count, 6 home/away back-to-backs; 4 away/away. Teams average 12.4 total back-to-backs this year, so we are under the average pretty easily.

Bucks have easier schedule because they don't play themselves (and 60 wins) 2/4 times

The Bucks will play each team in the Eastern Conference four times except for Brooklyn (1 home, 2 away), Charlotte (1 home, 2 away), New York (2 home, 1 away) and Miami (2 home, 1 away).

11 back-to-backs (7 away/home, 4 away/away)

I was hoping we'd have a later game on Christmas Day.

Interesting.

I don't see another 7 - 0 start, or whatever it was.

Yeah, I kind of doubt they factored it in but could work out really well. Unlikely, but if the Badger start off hot* both teams could be top 6 at that point. It could be a really cool atmosphere in the district where you start out at 2 and stay til 11pm.

MD's numbers are correct - I missed the home/away in April. 11 back-to-backs still puts us under the league average.

4 PM home opener is probably in part to take full of advantage of holding festivities in the Deer District while the weather is still mild.
