Not making the playoffs this year...that's my prediction.

Why?

Check out the last 15 or so games to close the season. I see atleast 10 losses in that all important closing stretch.

We'll miss out.

Soft start could be a blessing for confidence.

7 of the first 9 on the road is pretty rough for a young team...although those road games are against likely bad opponents. Only other things that really stands out is the brutal 5 game road trip near the end of the season. Unless some of those teams are resting for the playoffs that could make it really tough to get in.

Also disappointed there are no WGN games, anyone know why?

Actually, many of those games are teams which are likely to be a shoe in, so unless there are teams with similar records vying for positional seeding in the playoffs, we could see many of those teams keeping their star players out or playing low minutes, enabling possible fringe playoff teams getting some unexpected wins.

5 of first 7 on road against really weak teams. 6 of last 8 on road. Middle 67 through the doldrums obviously are very home heavy.

This is a pretty favorable schedule. Hopefully can get off to a fast start.

Yeah, relatively weak teams, and being on the road could bring the team together early in the season. But as other's have alluded to, whether we start hot or bad, it's a matter of how the new additions come together and how quickly.

I just want health!!

Read on Twitter

"Much of the Bulls' rest advantage comes later in the season. That's good for obvious reasons, as players tend to need more rest in the post-All-Star break dog days than before it. The Bulls' most difficult stretch of the season on paper is in March and April, but they'll be well rested compared to the teams they're going up against."

Bulls maybe over .500 after the first game.

Bulls will go undefeated, at least until the preseason starts...

Looking at the first 20 games, they could get off to a decent start,
maybe 12-8, at least .500 though I'd say.

Having the early road games against weak opponents is tough IMO. Early in the season every team is energized, even the bad ones.

Energized but not organized. The Bulls also have less pressure starting on the road coming from a 22 win season. I think they can do just fine. I actually like starting in the road. I am not afraid of rozier, because I think he is going to play the team out of the game early trying to prove he is the man from the jump.

Can games be flexed in like they can in the NFL for national TV games for teams that play better than expected?

Second half easiness doesn't matter since the first half is deciding what goes on at the deadline and season shut downs and ending injuries will likely be taking place.

They can. In cases of injuries on both teams or bad records they drop certain games for better matchups. But to a point where they change whole schedule not likely. Even if Bulls were 60 win team this year they would still have at best maybe 5 national games at most.

Good to get so many dogs early before all our good players inevitably start getting injured.

while I don't like how quickly life is flying by, I can't wait till the season starts up again. It's one of life's paradoxes I guess :sigh:
