Kuzma too.

Guessing Plumlee, Harris and White. Wouldnt be shocked though if Pop cut Kuzma instead of White— never underestimate his hatred for the Lakers and Klutch.

That would be awesome. Do it, Pop!

Looking real promising that 4 Celts will make it. Love it!

I just got home and read that Lowry was out.
4 Celtics Babé!!!

Team Shamrock.

Only thing about Lowry dropping, is that he was essentially the Captain, and had some Veteran motivation .

If Lowry and Bagley are out then there is only 1 more cut to get to 12.

It should be at 15 now, with 3 to cut.

So that's 9-11pm, for the Boston Natives.
Oh well. At least the Celtics fans have something to avidly view, this offseason.

Also, Smart still not practicing.

Boston Celtics Marcus Smart “day-to-day” with calf tightness at USA camp
By John Karalis | JKaralis@masslive.com | 08-14-19

https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2019/08/boston-celtics-marcus-smart-day-to-day-with-calf-tightness-at-usa-camp.html
Marcus Smart has missed the past week of the USA Men’s National Basketball team camp with calf tightness. He did not participate in Friday’s intra-squad scrimmage, but he remains with the team for now, and he could return to practice soon.

“He’s going to be a day-to-day type of thing,” head coach Gregg Popovich told the media after the team’s practice in Los Angeles. “Probably won’t practice the next couple of days I wouldn’t think.”

The team is practicing at the Los Angeles Lakers practice facility for a few days before taking on the Spanish National team on Friday night in an exhibition. That game will be at 10 PM Eastern Time and will air on NBA TV. It’s unclear whether Smart will return to participate in that scrimmage.

"Right now, for me, I’m trying to grow as a player... taking those precautions,” Smart said after the injury last week. "Last year, or two or three years ago, I probably would have still been out there trying to fight through it. It’s nothing serious so we just want to make sure it doesn’t turn into anything serious.”

Team USA will move from Los Angeles to Australia to begin training in Melbourne on August 19. They’ll practice for three days before an exhibition against the Australian National Team on August 22.

The FIBA World Cup begins August 31 in China. The games will be played in eight cities over 16 days and serve as one way Team USA could directly qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Team USA will begin the tournament in Group E with Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Japan.

Smart seems to be acting smarter. He held himself out, as a precaution.

Boston Celtics Kemba Walker says new teammates are ‘really good young dudes’
By John Karalis | JKaralis@masslive.com | 08-14-19

https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2019/08/boston-celtics-kemba-walker-says-new-teammates-are-really-good-young-dudes.html
One of the narratives that developed in the Boston Celtics locker room last season was the rift between younger players and Kyrie Irving. While it may have been overblown, there was definitely some tension between at least some of the younger players who had nearly made it to the NBA Finals the season before, and Irving after he singled them out for early troubles.

While we don’t know how this upcoming season will play out, new Celtic Kemba Walker doesn’t seem willing to go down that same path. He has been able to play with three of his new teammates, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart, as part of the FIBA World Cup of Basketball training with the US Men’s National Basketball team.

“They’re just some really good young dudes and I just enjoy being around them,” Walker told NBA.com’s Sekou Smith after a practice in Los Angeles. “And the age difference is really crazy to me. J.T. is like 21 and J.B. is 22 and Marcus is 25. And I’m 29 and feeling like, wow, this is cool. It sounds crazy. I remember when I was 21 in this league. I was a rookie and just trying to figure it all out. And these guys are young vets already. Like I said, it’s crazy.”

It’s true that all three returning Celtics in this group have already seen a lot. Tatum has been on the verge of a Finals appearance and on the wrong end of a disappointing playoff elimination. Brown has had to adjust to new roles in all three of his seasons. Smart has grown into a locker room leader.

a final lineu of Walker/Mitchell/Barnes/PJ Tucker/B Lopez....

Lopez might be the worst player on the court for both teams and i'm not joking. Giannis covers up so much for him. Barnes is trash and Tucker is a no creator role player.

Not surprising they could lose a "practice" with that lineup.

"The main roster of team USA took on the select team of USA Basketball, which is primarily made up of G league players. The select team defeated the main roster squad 36-17."

Looks like the G-League team is locked in.
Team USA has a different feel, without Lowry's Vet presences pushing them.
