No, it's their coach. That's 4th straight summer he cannot figure out how to use a top 3 center in the league. They've been underperforming their talent for a while now and their federation doesn't seem interested in making changes.

France game about to start.

France are horrible. They might not get out of the group stage at the WC.

First half vs Spain was pretty good. Donovan played ok. Did some good things and bad things on offense, but very active on offense. Rubio flopped his way to about 10 points at the end of the quarter

BTW, there is no hope that Mitchell is getting rid of his horrible floater game. He's in love. The only thing we can hope for is that it's less awful.

Giannis is unfair in international play. He's unfair in the NBA too, but this is different kind of ridiculous. He will be very clearly the best player at the World Cup. I have no idea how team USA will guard him.

Wow, didn't expect that one. Maybe he's improved so much and looked so good that he doesn't want to risk an injury? So that's Fox and Tucker too, who are the latest to withdraw. Are there any players from the NBA left to even fill the roster at this point?

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

They have 13 players on the roster if I'm not mistaken. They still have to cut one more player.

You know I wouldn't mind his floater game if he were good at it....

Any references or compassion on how long a decent floater game takes to develop? Looking for some encouragement here.

Well, we have Conley to teach him, and he has the best floater in the NBA.

Box Score for USA vs. Spain exhibition game:

https://www.usab.com/news-events/live-stats/2019/mnt/box-score-mnt-vs-esp.aspx

DM was high minutes and high scorer for team USA with 13 points on 10 attempts.

Rubio shot a poor percentage, but more than made it up for it with free throws, steals and assists. He ended up with 16 points on 13 attempts, along with 5 steals, 7 assists, 7-7 free throws and just two turnovers.

The NBA needs to do everything they can to try to get their in arena experience the way it's in Europe. People are actually there to watch the game and spectate. When people go to NBA games, they are glued to their phones and the game ops is centered around dance cams and wacky, family fun.

In Europe the fans are part of the spectacle. In some cases it gets to the other extreme... it becomes more about what the fans are doing than about what is happening on the floor.

There is one thing that continually comes up with Giannis - in crunch time, opponents stack the paint and give him space and build a wall... and he doesn't know what to do so he gives the ball to less talented players. This is the next step he needs to take in his development.

Australia had 2 games with Canada in Australia. They lost the 1st one by 20 and won the second one by 8... Here's the box scores for both games:

Seems like Jingles is not shooting the ball well so far.
