RealGM Dynasty Basketball I

I want to move our league over to the Fantrax website. -- This is after a tryout last season, in both Football & Basketball.
From a Facilitator standpoint, it's a much better site than the Yahoo site.

We've had a number of people drop over the years.
And more importantly, no one helped run it last year.

That's got to change, if we're going to continue this league.
in any event, please let me know if you're interested in the Dynasty League.

My initial intention is to merge with another league that I run, and go to 24 teams.
With 16 teams going to the Playoffs.

During the humdrum off the offseason I was wondering if some Celtics fans would like to do up a alltime famtasy draft game.

Thinking 16 teams. 10 players each.

Draft order is assigned at random using a wheel, use a snake format. Pick 1 gets pick 32. Pick 16 gets 17 etc.

Rules are trades are allowed after a 1 day moratorium has lifted after draft lottery.

Then trades can be made up to 2 days after final pick is made.

Each player can only be chosen once, but drafter gets to pick what year they want to use. This way you can get some players drafted that might never be drafted otherwise.

After all picks and trades are made a round robin happens. The order of round robin will be done at random.

Each team will draw up a gameplan and present it in a thread that is open to and member to debate and vote on a winner.

After 3 days leading voter wins and moves on to mext round until a winner is crowned.

A delegate of a couple of players can review and finalize trades is no one wanta to be full commissioner.

If people are down to play just say so. Any ideas to improve rules just say so.

How long do I have to decide? Fantrax is extremely difficult to navigate on mobile. Also what’s the status with our keepers from the previous league, will they be transferred over or no?

It's first come first serve. You have ultimately until Oct. 18, or whenever all the slots are taken. Whichever comes first.
Doesn't look like we're going with the our old Dynasty league. We don't have enough returning players.

We can see what people want to do, from this point forth.
(I do still have the records from the Dynasty league, though.)
