I got Wiseman for now. He’s kinda a mix of Ayton/Mitch Rob imo.
It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

Re: Who's the preseason #1 pick?
cole anthony is the most polished for his position but for #1 pick pre-season, i don't think he has any significant lead over some of the other prospects (i still voted him though). i think literally anyone on the list from rj hampton or wiseman are very reasonable.
personally, while still raw, jaden mcdaniels is very much in that conversation with the aforementioned. his size and game is ideal for the modern nba. he def needs more leg strength to start hitting 3s regularly though. someone like wiseman has the biggest chance to undoubtedly impact the game based on his presence alone, but in the modern nba his ceiling is probably the most limited amongst the top of the class.

i have Cole similar tier to Ja at this point, I can't/couldn't see either as #1 overall guy...and he'd still be older than Ja at the time of the draft despite Ja being a sophomore.

Anthony Edwards is my early pick but there doesn't seem to be a clear-cut ace heading into this szn. That makes it so much more exciting to me.

He's probably been called "Top Gun" all his life, so I won't do it. I'm leaning toward him right now partly because he's so young to go along with being such a physical athlete. But he's raw enough that he's not a sure thing.

He doesn’t have anywhere near the strength or offensive polish as Ayton.
Wiseman has some worrisome red flags tbh I don’t like the way he plays.. lacks b-ball IQ and is incredibly weak for a C at this stage. Hope he does well at Memphis but I can’t shake the feeling he gets exposed as being a giant Kelly Oubre

If Ant shows he can defend even a little bit in college, I think he goes #1.
Fits the Victor Oladipo prototype to a tee, with probably even greater athleticism.

But Victor Oladipo is not Victor Oladipo without his defense.

Dipo was the #2 pick in a bad class, though, and Edwards is quite a ways away from being that good defensively.

Voted for my darkhorse...LaMelo. Pretty unlikely but I think he has a chance if he shows any defensive accumen in the NBL.

Ant? No, his functional strength is very much there.

Even if I had him graded as the best prospect (by a slight margin) I don't think anyone would take him top 5 (assuming others are bunched up close in grade, which seems likely right now).
There's just too many risks.

What are the risks? I mean are people really naive enough to believe NBA teams think his father is that big of a problem? Do you know some players have criminals and drug addicts as parents. Lavar is light work for NBA teams.
