The video review is the worst thing to happen to sports. Refs huddling around monitors = 10% of broadcasts now.

They cant hit Atlantic Ocean from the outside, if they were able to knock down some shots, this game would have been close. One of the worst shooting teams i ever saw.

nothing to do with usa defense right? man the americans are lucky!

Americans did great. But the Greeks played right into their strengths (team speed with shot-blocking in the middle), instead of working inside out and using the their big passers to see cutters.

This has to be the lowest scoring game for the US in quite some time

They did good job with Giannis which is not hard to do in FIBA competitions but Greeks have zillion open shots, some in the rythm where ball was moving great , they even decline to take some of them, they are so bad as shooters.

Any reason why Giannis didn't play down the stretch? The Greeks cut it to 11 at one point, and Giannis still wasn't sent in. In fact, did he play at all in the 4th?

I get it that Ingles is fans' favourite, but I think you'll like Bogdan even more.

What has Bogdan have to do with Utah fans?

Lithuania is out. So disappointed. It was such an obvious basket interference, screw you refs.

Lol, wrong Bogdanovic.

Yeah, that was absolute bull by refs, and they carried France since 1st q. I didn't lose my bet thanks to that last non-call, so I'm good ))

USA were pretty awful though, 69 points vs Greece...

His brother came in and played more of a facilitator/hustle role. Allowed the rest of the team to get a little bit more comfortable.

Probably resting him for Monday game, they have some hope to advance to the quarter finals if they beat the Czechs .

JV with only one shot attempt in Q1. JV is one of the most effective centers on offense against Gobert. They should have gone to him from the beginning imo. And yeah, that last JV shot with under a minute should have been goal tending. Glad my Jazz player is moving on though. Would love it if France, Australia and USA all get medals!

We were forced to do that since Calathes, Bourousis and Papanikolaou were afraid to shoot the ball. Shooting 7/27 from 3 was simply the nail in our coffin.

Not surprised that this happens when you allow players to slap the ball when it's on the rim. I always though that rule is dumb, unnecessary and ugly to watch. As long as the ball is above the cylinder you should not be able to fiddle with any part of the basket.

Also, Giannis commits foul to stop fastbreak = UNSPORTSMANLIKE foul because he didn't make a play on the ball

Thanasis slaps Barnes on the head full speed mid-air from behind = NORMAL foul, because he wanted to slap the ball, but just missed

That's FIBA for you folks.

Me too. They watch every fu***** small and stupid call. But don't take a look on replay of the biggest call of the game.

You're not allowed to do this, it's the 3rd tier refs being stupid. All this **** because of ULEB vs FIBA
