I had some hope for him once, but it turned out to be just a hot streak. He's a pretty good shooter, imo, but the only way he seems to know to play requires you to be an elite shooter in the NBA. Hard to see an NBA career for him.

but who else will take all of our low percentage mid range shots outside of the flow of the offense?!

with antonio brown being released today, this will go waaay under the radar.

Thank god. Now need to release a few more deadweights. Game was unwatchable last season due to G league talents playing major minutes. Feel like Shaq doesnt belong but oh well hes a coach favorite so what can I do? Felicio, Valentine, Dunn needs to go tho.

Even though it was already hard to see him get many minutes this season, it's still good to know that he won't get a single one.

With that being said: I still hope you go crazy in China, AB!

Does this basically mean they couldn't find a trade for Dunn and wanted the roster settled before camp?

Makes sense, I keep seeing all these headlines today about AB being released.

This guy's gonna average like 60+ a night in China.

Had really high hopes for him... If he learned to play within an offense he could've been solid.

With shaq , he has proven to play nba level defense and can be used in short spurts.

I agree with getting rid of felicio val and dunn and only want to move past valentine because he just can't stay healthy.

Nice, finally the tank is dead and real players are being brought in for the end of the bench.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Looks like no trade before the season starts.

One big step towards finalizing the team chemistry in training camp.

The Bulls are still overloaded with talent.

The main question now is how are the injured players recovering.

Releasing Blakeney hopefully means that they feel like they have an answer at backup SG.

Who knows, maybe they could try Coby there or Sato if Boylan decides to start Dunn.

Coach probably wakes up with a smile on his face with all of the options that he has.

I am perfectly ok with this. Blakeney had his chance during the tank seasons, and doesn't have a place on the team, now that they're going to take a real shot at respectability.

Blakeney gone is good news. A chucker that doesn't do anything positive on the floor, not even the chucking is positive. China may be the only option for him.

The right move and an obvious one since Shaq was signed and no good trade offers came through for Dunn.
