He is not promoting pills... He stated that that happens naturally...
What is your proof to say ur not getting taller playing basketball? I expect answer to this. Tell me proof

It is not helping your growth, in a wisdom sense, to try be right in conversation... If that turns u on, ok, U r right.. Happy?
Listen to arguments and adjust your opinion.. that is what makes you smarter, not trying to be right no matter what

He is not supposed to prove anything, you are making an absurd claim and you are supposed to prove it. It's not that I claim for Aliens to walk between us and you are supposed to give me a proof that they are not.

Also, he has plenty of reasons to feel smarter, given that in 2019 there still are people believing completely idiotic things like "basketball makes you taller". Stupidity doesn't deserve respect after a certain point, he's been far too polite. Just study, Jesus.

U realise u contradicting yourself.. Of course u have to give me a proof,(or him) that playing basketball is not making u taller... because there are much more reasons to believe that is true than walking Aliens among us... u don't have to prove aliens, but u have to prove this thing... But if u don't want to listen any of the arguments, i guess u r so smart that we just have to trust u

I'll take it if his proof come from a scientific paper or study.

Not from a freaking blog from a "jokester/class clown" whose blog is infested with ads promoting growth pills.

Absolutely. And swimmers aren't nowhere near the height of basketball players, so think about that.

That's the point, we don't see many basketball players, but we see many regular people, and the tallest people I can remember seeing that were not basketball players are two guys who were both about 6'8''. The tallest person I can remember walking by is Damir Markota, Croatian basketball player who played for the Milwauke Bucks one year. He is about 6'10'', and I saw him at the airport when I was a kid, it was ridiculous how much he was towering over everybody.

The point is that not many people are taller than 6’8”, so normally very tall people have big advantages playing basketball. They’re playing basketball because they are tall and not vice versa.

How do u know that... Lot of people start playing basketball in very young age when they are not tall, but you don't see a lot of short basketball players.. of course, there is a selection later on, but is there any particular reason u claim basketball is not making u taller

Your body is defined mostly by genetics, but saying that your life style doesn't impact that is strange at least

I was playing basketball, when I was young and I would be playing a lot longer and better, if I were 6’8” and not 6’. Are you saying that I would have been 5’7” If I hadn’t been playing basketball? :D

Why don't we see people that tall outside of basketball then? You think every giant plays basketball?

Tall people have a huge advantage in sports so they are more likely to pursue it from an early age. Its much easier to become a pro when you are 7ft tall than if you are 6ft2 in sports where height is an advantage.

You see giant people in handball and voleyball quite regularly so its not only in basketball. The theory that playing basketball somehow makes you taller is laughable.

It's not laughable at all, it's scientifically proved. Handball and Volleyball are similar sports to basketball. It's laughable that you believe that all tall people are talented for sports. If you don't, then why don't we see many 6'8'' guys among regular people, let alone 7 footers. I guess they all play sports, what a coincidence!

Why are you making things up? When did I ever say that all tall people are talented for sports? You obviously have a lack of reading comperhension.

My point was that taller people are pushed toward sports from an early age because they have a physical advantage right from the start. Being big and tall is not a talent. Do you know the difference between talent for something and being physically gifted? The most talented and skilled NBA players by far are guards. And thats simply because the pool of people playing those positions is X times larger than the pool of people 6-7 and taller. The problem is that you just can not make up the difference in size in basketball, no matter how talented and skilled you are, thats why centers can still be effective even though they dont have 50% of talent and skills of guards.

You really shouldnt be trying to debate things you didint put enough thought into and clearly dont understand.

We’re talking about growing because of basketball and people normally grow when they’re young not when they’re 20+ years old. So I for sure quality.

De Colo should have gotten another chance in the NBA. He is too good. Great game.

Due to comments about a Chinese swimmer, forget his name, who's I think the best swimmer in the world at his chosen stroke/distance had been tested positive at some stage in his career for a banned substance. Aussie swimmer protested this Chinese swimmer and Andrew Bogut supported this and added his two bob in on twitter.

Australia's jerseys are so basic it should say "basketball jersey" on it.

There was a Chinese swimmer a few months ago that was a drug cheat but was somehow allowed to swim and won a gold medal when he should have been banned. The Swimmers held a protest by refusing to stand on the podium with this cheat.

Bogut tweeted about it... and because Asians "don't like you bringing shame on my family"... they all flooded his twitter abusing him and saying some pretty nasty stuff about his wife and family. Scumbags really.
