Interesting thread, I'm still on Reed side because Frazier improved as a scorer just next year and Reed was more impactful defender than Clyde.

I'd say Clyde although it's close; while Reed may have been more valuable in that the Knicks didn't have any other good options if he was injured, Clyde dominated guards on both ends to a far greater extent than Reed dominated other centers. On the other hand, Reed's shotblocking probably aided the other Knicks more than Clyde's steals and Reed stepped up more during the playoffs so I can certainly see the arguments going the other way.
