After the Vikings fired Defilipppo as their OC last year, they put up 41 against the Dolphins, including 21 points in the first quarter.

People overreacted and thought their offense was "fixed", and then they fell back to Earth in time to get worked by the Bears. Teams will see how their offense changed this offseason and adjust.

Worried this is another game where the Packers offense is going to come out and look pathetic.

Hope I’m wrong though.

It probably will be. Week 3 probably will be also. The offense is going to take some time to get in sync and the defensive matchups arent going to do them any favors.

Hopefully the D can step up again

Kirk will give us a couple opportunities to pick the ball - just can't let those opportunities slip through our fingers.

Count me in the camp that the offense is gonna figure it out sooner rather than later and that it's not gonna be some painfully slow process. The main core of this group has been together for the last couple years. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Rodgers slings the ball all over the field and we drop 30+ on them.

I'm a little more optimistic than others in the rate at which the offense can get up to speed.

Remember, that Bears' D held last year's prolific Rams offense to 6 points in another home night game with the crowd going bonkers.

My rational side realizes it's completely reasonable and probably even expected to see a slow start from the offense. Limited reps together in a new system. Played maybe the best defense in the NFL in their first live action. And the Vikings D is pretty damn good too.

But, the fan in me, he isn't hearing it and wants play action bombs and touchdowns.

Oh and also the fantasy owner in me: MOAR DAVANTE PLZZZ

The secret is to weather their early storm. Then immediately pop a Zimmer team in the nose like you just don't care. It's folding time.
If the Vikings are playing an away game, the home team just has to start fast. Fold o rama.

In those back breaking moments, Zimmer is busy thinking about which player to throw under the bus in post game. Not how to rally.

Let's start 2-0.

Noon games are Vikings best chance at a decent away game performance. I haven't researched that, just always seems so. Afternoon and night away games are bound to be easier to get a fast start over Vikings. But Noon, you have your hands full.

If my fantasy team is any indication of my optimism for the offense this week, I'm currently starting Dak Prescott over Aaron Rodgers. Now I'm going to go take a shower.

All that means is that the Cowboys are going to score 3 points and the Packers are going to score 40

Never gonna happen. Unless they want to ratchet up the noise during offensive possessions, Green Bay residents are second to none in that regard.

Thank you! Christ, how embarrassing. Our all-world, first ballot HOF quarterback having to plea to fans to not tell others to sit down AT A F***ING FOOTBALL GAME. Get it together, Packers fans.

Seems like a Wisconsin thing because I've seen that kind of stuff happen at Badgers, Brewers and Bucks games too.

Can't wait to go to this one. Last game I went to was McCarthy's last. Miserable weather, miserable game.

Hilarious game for those of us watching at home and posting in the game thread.
