Bos - Mem ( Bos gets Fire power )

Post#1 » by scottyg » Wed Sep 11, 2019 12:02 pm

Bos gets -
- Iggy
- Jae Crowder
- Kyle Anderson

Why? They gain future cap, bring Crowder back who fits in nice and Iggy runs the bench mob and Anderson should is on a good contract

Mem gets -
- Gordon Hayward
- Grant Williams
- gets their draft pick back with added protections on it !

Thoughts? I feel like these 2 teams both have the players and assets that each other need just gotta figure out a trade that works for both

Probably yes from Memphis if no protections on the pick back.

Agree with that. More hesitant about Boston here. The pick is easily the best asset here and Williams is a decent prospect. I could see them objecting.

Don't like this for Boston. There are better moves out there.

Not a chance, we don't need cap space next summer at all.

I don't really see any of those players as a need for Boston, they need size, not more wings. I think Memphis can find a somewhat decent return moving Iggy by himself to a contendor.

I can't imagine that Boston would have any interest in this. They don't need old wings, they need front court help.

I also have to say that I think folks are overstating the trade value of Iggy and Crowder by a considerable margin in these proposals.

This doesn’t look good for Boston, as said above
