FVV - Finals Compilation

Post#1 » by Duffman100 » Thu Sep 12, 2019 4:46 pm

Because it's the summer and I think we should constantly and consistently appreciate our Finals run. I just watched this during my lunch hour. Reminded me how damn crucial Fred was in our finals series. The shooting, the defense, pestering Curry non-stop.

To Fred!

He's like Pat Borders of the Jays 1992 Championship.

How is that not a foul on Jerebko at 0:44 and even worse how is that not a foul on Draymond at 3:33.

BIG BOI SHOTS! 8-)

great comparison. I was actually at game 4 when Borders hit that solo shot and Jimmy key won the game.

Just unconscious from the last two bucks games till the end of the finals! You gotta give it to Nurse for sticking with him through the dry spell.

Finals MVP is for the best player... not who played over their heads the most

Either way finals FVV was so much fun
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Though FVV is just starting his career and could earn the starting PG spot if they don't bring back Lowry. Or could be a VanVlowry transitional phase in 2020/2021.

FVV has the clutch gene!

He went from having his jumpshots blocked to Steph Curry on steroids in the span of two series.

He was robbed of Finals MVP.

Everyone was calling him unplayable during the Philly series and the first 2 games of the Bucks series. But after his son was born, FVV caught fire and went on a tear! Dude was hitting clutch dagger after dagger.

Nice palate cleanser after that thread where someone was saying Marcus Smart and Joe Harris are obviously better than Fred

Man, I so hope that “Finals Freddy” is just his new Freddy, I hope that’s just the player he is now. Clutch AF, pesky M2M D and draining mad 3s

I honestly don't think we win the series without FVV. He contributed when it really mattered

I remember it was either the first or second shot that Fred made in the Milwaukee game where he turned everything around and I said to my bud 'Hey put WAYYYYY more arc on that shot then he's been doing in the rest of the playoffs'.

I think this was a major adjustment he made. His shot was too flat the first couple of series. I'd bet it was a conscious adjustment.

He bailed us out of some really stagnant possession. Late in shot locks with ridiculous 3s

It is absolutely criminal that FVV is still being underrated after that chip run. I've been arguing that he was under-rated for 2 years and have been BEGGING MU to lock him up long-term. I figured we'd have no chance of getting him on a deal after the finals but I'm thinking the general perception of him STILL doesn't reflect his quality. His IQ is off the charts and he will continue to win wherever he goes.

LOCK HIM UP. Anything less than 20 milly per year would be an absolute steal. I bet he'll end up being a max player.
