I get why KAT chose to play for the Dominican team 7 years ago, but man it'd be nice to have him in the Team USA system right now.

Yes, would be great for KAT to play with other guys and under Pop command.

Team ball, and size really hurt the US. Crazy that we are going to finish like 7th. The good news is that maybe this will make some players want to show up next time around. I bet that there will be a big show of force in the Olympics but don't know if this will carry over to the next world cup.

I was surprised to see he was still playing. Then I was shocked to see how much he has been balling for Argentina. And I mean BALLING!!!

They have definitely been the surprise team of this World Cup. They have been a great team over the past two decades but due to age have fallen off a bit in the last 5 years or so. But they seem to have turned the tide a bit.

Still hoping for Spain to win because of Ricky, though.

I thought Spain was going to struggle but they have been great. Rubio really has become the leader of the team which is cool to see. I remember when he was getting benched at times. He has paid the dues and earned the respect. Marc Gasol has also been wonderful, dominating out there.

Some more NBA guys showed up for the international tams that I thought. Pretty crazy that Jokic is out there balling. Also Bae Elite has been doing his thing.

I heard Gorgui got cut from Senegal? that's crazy if true because last world cup, he was by far and way their best player, just doing everything on the floor. How could he not make the team? Has he fallen off that bad or did he just want to leave or what?

I still believe that if a handful of Canadian players showed up, they could have gotten a top 3 finish. If they had say, Thompson, Clarke, Murray, Wiggins, SGA, they could have done some big damage.
