Will still be part of the back row like last year as the front row remains the same with Bjorkgren, Griffin and Scariolo
Basically we almost have one coach per player lol. They have one-to-one. Meanwhile Doug Ford is making high schools have ridiculously large classes per one teacher
Here's a secret you should know, that's because Ford has no choice, the alternative is not having teachers at all, that's what happens when our province has more debt than any sub-national government in the entire world per person, even more than California which is insane. If people knew the real financial issues that this province will have in the coming years it would actually cause panic and make people consider moving out of Ontario because tax increases are definitely coming. At the current rate the deficit is going to continue to grow where the interest alone on the debt will become more than 50% of the budget and they will have to cut back on everything, teachers, police, firefighters, nurses doctors and the list goes on.
If you want to blame anyone for the ridiculous class sizes, you can blame the liberals for their complete incompetence in running their budgets which led us to the **** hole of a financial scenario for this province. FYI i'm not pro conservative or liberal just not a fan of complete morons that have literally screwed this province royally.
If he really had 'no choice', then he wouldn't be
intentionally using misinformation to sell his argument. Be completely honest and say we need to raise sizes to save money. Instead, he uses arguments like:
Ex. "Ontario has an average class size of 22, while BC has 32"
False. BC's MAX class size is 32, it's AVERAGE is below that. Ontario's max is also 32. BC used to have huge class sizes and they won a court case to get them lower.
'Ontario classes average is 22.'
Again AVERAGE is the key word. Most classes are in the 26-32 range. What keeps it down is specialty classes like the special education classes with 6-10, specialty classes like woodshop which have max of 15-20, and other teachers like guidance counsellors, special education teachers, who don't have classes, but are counted in that ratio, lowering it to 22.
'In university they will have giant classes - this prepares them'
Most students do not go to university. Maybe 35% max do. So these huge class sizes are not 'preparing' the majority. What about the students who don't go to university. Well let's cut the classes that help them. We love to complain that students don't learn stuff to help them in real-life, well the classes that do prepare them for actual work - those are the ones going to be cut, because their sizes are lower.
Could classes be bigger. Sure, maybe a little bit. But to get to '28'; it means some classes will need to get to the high 30s and/or cut all the specialty classes. But when you intentionally distort the figures, it shows that he is aware and just doesn't care.
