He’s gonna be a top three rebounder among guards sooner than later. He had a great frosh season by the numbers but I think his game will find its best footing as a pro. I know he’s only a rookie and I’m not putting it on him but the kid doesn’t do a lotta losing. He’s relentlessly competitive.

With the dudes we have and Fiz giving him the responsibility I think he’s going to impact winning right out the gate.

He going to flash greatness, be frustrating at times, shoot a lower % than THJr on just as many shots, but will pass it more. And it'll all be worth it because he'll be much much better than THJr.

I hope RJ does these few simple things his 1st year in the league as the year goes along.

1) Be our best wing defender
2) Hit his FT's (78% at least)
3) Improve his handle and passing even more
4) Develop go to post up fadeaway moves (ala like all the great guards had..Jordan, Kobe, Drexler, Harden etc..)
5) Improve 3pt% (at least 34%)

If the Knicks get that 8th spot and RJ is contributing, it's enough for me in his 1st year.
