Yeah, I don't think you generally undergo an MRI and magically show up to play again in the next couple days. That's not good.

The only good thing is that he was on first base joking around and then took the field in the bottom of the half. Really hoping for something mild he can just rest until the WC game (or play in division game).

Yeah I’d have to agree with you. They also mentioned during the game last time he had it he got sent to DL so that would mean at least a couple weeks. Sucks because he was really hitting well lately. Wild card game wouldn’t need him as much since Scherzer is a righty so Gamel might be better option anyway but against the Dodgers we absolutely need him. That was our big problem last year is that so many of our best hitters are lefty’s and that didn’t work out too well with all the lefty’s the Dodgers had.
