That's such an amazing commercial. When it got back into the rotation during the Packer game I was pretty happy.

I bailed early in season two. I got sick of the weird and having no clue what was going on. I'll say if you think the first five episodes are confusing, you haven't seen nothing yet.

Just wait until Season 2. Then you won't have a single ****ing clue. That's as straightforward as it gets.

Edit- Looks like RS had that covered.

Saw IT:2 and Joker. IT was a totally forgettable film. Joker on the other hand, brilliant. It all begins with Phoenix's disturbing performance, and continues with the difficult issues it raises.

And then you get to season 3 and you are happy you stuck with it.

Another Disney+ deal:

The Disney+ deal, which was reported by the Orlando Sentinel, will knock about $40 off a three-year subscription that would normally put you out $210 (at the annual rate of $70). Put another way, the discount essentially means you’d be paying $170 for three years of the service, or just under $5 per month for most of what Disney+ has to offer, including Pixar, innumerable past Disney films, Star Wars, National Geographic, every season of The Simpsons, Marvel films and series, and a bunch of originals like The Mandalorian.

A Disney spokesperson told Gizmodo by phone that deal—a Founders Circle promotion for Disney park loyalists—is active through October 11. But I, notably not a parks loyalist, successfully purchased the subscription at the discounted $170 rate. To get it, head to this link and input the code “PARKSPASS3YEARS.”

I don't have interest in most Disney content including Star Wars but I love anything that will keep prices down. Between this deal and Apple's $5 a month service it will keep pressure on the others to match or at least not raise prices. Apple's service is different though as it's all new, original content. So they will have much less than other services. Some of their stuff looks interesting though.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Peaky Blinders Season 5. So far so awesome.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I was really hyped about seeing Joker after reading what other people were writing and seeing the trailer.

I really hated it and was thoroughly disappointed. If you want to watch a movie that will just depress you, this is the one for you. Getting the vibe of the audience afterwards, they had a lot of similar thoughts as I did. Maybe I am just wrong on this one and it will grow on me but I normally like the majority of movies I see.

The more I read about Joker on the forum, the more excited I get to see it this weekend.

Also, I'm on Criminal - France and have to say the first episode took, what I originally felt was one too many turns but after reflecting on it I like how it started and ended. So far that whole series (UK, Germany, haven't watched Spain) has been entertaining and thought provoking. I recommend all of them.

Totally agree that it was super depressing, so if you can’t handle stuff like that it’s best to avoid this movie. I have a buddy who is the same way and when he asked me for my opinion I told him it was a fantastic movie, but that he would hate it.
