Et Tu Fox News?

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fox-news-poll-record-support-for-trump-impeachment

A new high of 51 percent wants Trump impeached and removed from office, another 4 percent want him impeached but not removed, and 40 percent oppose impeachment altogether. In July, 42 percent favored impeachment and removal, while 5 percent said impeach but don’t remove him, and 45 percent opposed impeachment.

I wonder how long before Tillerson does a deposition. No one took it all that
seriously when (several months ago?) in a public interview Tillerson said he was often
put in position of having to tell DJT that the way he wanted to do something was illegal.

Then there is the latest Rudy/Turkey/Iran scandal. They pressured to DoJ
to ease up on a money launderer working on behalf of Iran to get around
the sanctions. There is no bottom.

Wow! I can't speak for the players but...

It would be great if a player stood up and said - we are behind the protesters - we know this could impact revenues by x% and I would be good with reducing all of our player contracts by that same percentage.

That would really throw the Chinese on their heels.

Ignoring the standing up to China vocally, the pay decrease is already built into the CBA. They're talking about a 10 to 15% of a drop in revenues in worst case scenarios. Well, 10% of player salaries are held in escrow and players don't actually get them if player salaries exceed their allocated % of revenues within the CBA. That means player salaries are likely going to be effectively rolled back by 10% should these worst case scenarios play out, which would be right in line with the expected drop in revenues.

I’m gonna take the opposite tact here and say that players don’t have to speak on this issue if they don’t want to.

Anything a prominent player says right now could potentially affect the paychecks of thousands of people (and not only the players and their employees, but also regular blue-collar workers as well who make money from the NBA or shoe companies) - if they don’t feel comfortable putting themselves in the position to take food off someone else’s table , fine by me.

Besides , I don’t even think the average American fully understands the context behind the protesters and what they are fighting for. I’d be fairly surprised if the players were informed enough already to give an educated response.

The NBA disagrees at least that the question can be asked

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Yeah stepping in and stopping her from asking the question was definitely a bad look.I feel that was on the Rockets owner though.

But those two never struck me as the political type anyways. Even if she had asked the question I don’t think Harden and Westbrook would’ve opted to say anything. Heck Westbrook doesn’t even respond to questions about the game he just played in , he sure as hell won’t touch this

Holy crap, are you guys reading the indictment on the two stooges!? This is going deeper than I could've imagined. Just how corrupt and dirty is the Republican party? All this inexplicable sycophantic behavior may just start to make sense. :o

Erdogan Calls
Trump: We are getting out of Middle East Wars

MBS Calls
Trump: We are sending thousands of troops to Saudi Arabia

Must be nice to play with soldiers' lives like pawns.
