He could be around or under 40%, but that doesn't mean it's a bad season. Luka shot 42.7%, Young 41.8%, and they had phenomenal rookie seasons.

They really do though lol.

Zion is copping heat for going 12/13 for 29 points in like 26 minutes or something

If the Knicks start Smith Jr, Barrett and Knox on the perimeter is it possible that all 3 shoot <50 TS%? I think that <52 TS% each is a given.

This is a thread designed to bash RJ.
No basis on their claim (fg< 40%) when RJ likes to drive more to the rim than shoots.
His efficiency will be made up for his jumpshots when he gets 5 fts per game.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

Hopefully the Knicks sway him from shooting those shots.

Took exactly one shot that wasn't in the paint or a 3-ball.

He's never seen RJ play he just heard he was a chucker and inefficient and assumed he shot long 2s (when in reality he takes too many contested layups and 3s). Foot in mouth.

Using fg% as the only barometer of efficiency.

What is this 2002?

RJ looks brutal, he’s too Strong, when grabs the ball he deflated it turning into turnovers. He can’t shot a free throw and he’s never going to get better. Kids a bust

Of course he will. The questions around Barrett involve his 3 point shooting and free throw shooting. Nothing else, nothing more.

he's already a better shooter than derozan and they're games are nothing alike.

Not by much really I mean Demar shot in the high twenties early in his career and Barrett shot 30% in college. Not some drastically better shooter. Time will tell and how are they nothing alike? SG's with decent handle and good at attacking the paint, better from the mid range then deep. Seem pretty similar to me.

RJ is in an awful position teammate-wise.

He’s playing with blackholes like Julius Randle, Dennis Smith Jr & Marcus Morris. Plus a bunch of dudes on 1-2 year contracts who are trying to secure their next deals. The roster has no direction.

that's on Fiz, he needs to establish the proper pecking order to maximize the talent they have.

rj will bust.
this guy is a true tweener in an age where tweeners aren't supposed to matter.
can't shoot anything from anywhere, can't shoot ft's, so-so assists which he's no big deal anyway 4:3 asst/to ratio IN COLLEGE,

and he was covered by a dominating duke team where zion simply ran away as the mvp of that team, leaving rj with all the others. he big but college big, not ben simmons big.

what is he supposed to be?
