Ive always been a fan of his and still am. I think he is in the perfect place. Plenty of lob threats, should be a very fast pace team, the starters may lack shooting but the bench is stacked with it. I think he could battle for the assist lead this year and have very low turnovers to go with it.

His FT%is garbage and I expect that to be the same. But he did go from 30% to 33% from 3 from year 1 to 2. If he can make another 3% jump and get to 36% to go with his facilitating and defense. Dude can be a stud.

Still think the LA/Pels trade was a win win for both sides. LA got their superstar to go with Lebron and Pels got 2 really good young prospects that fit perfect with what they're doing.

it wouldnt surprise me, lot of players make that next level jump of improving in their 3rd-5th year in the league
with his age and only one year at ucla i always felt he'd need to develop and adjust to the nba and not the other way around

he can and he should, he avg'd 10pts 7reb7ast his rookie campaign with less competent scorers and a inexperienced coach at the helm
alvin gentry will actually be a huge benefit to players like zo , zion and B.I. in my opinion

forget the shot. he was making em from 25 ' at ucla. an open 3 is an open 3. although he DOES take a rather huge leap forwards on his 3pt shot - longest i've ever seen. but it's the midrange that he keeps passing up that he needs to work on.

If he's healthy, he gonna makes the whole team think like a team. that's his gift. did it at ucla and his first year at lal. if there was ever a quintessential paradigm for immeasurables, it's lonzo and his numbers

btw, lal was 6th in defensive efficiency when he played and 26th when he didn't, last year with Lebron

I expect him to become an afterthought now that he's out of LA. Kuzma was right.

Pels are going to be one of the most watched and talked about teams.

His shot looks a lot better. I wouldn't be surprised if he averages double digit assists this year with all the young talent surrounding him.

Ironically the Magic should get more national attention as well, although not as much as the Pels

Only if Zion puts on a show every game. Otherwise they are an afterthought. And I don't believe he has it in him. Middle of the pack small market teams don't draw attention.

if the nba logged the hockey assist, i'd be interested in that.
ball doesn't play the half court game that great, but he should be steady at 8 apg minimum if healthy

My opinion in Lonzo's passing ability has calmed down a bit. I hope to see him make strides in the pick and roll.

But overall, I expect good things

Lonzo will be the Pelicans’ second best player this year behind Jrue. He was a plus player his first two seasons even though he couldn’t finish nor could he shoot that well. Right before he got injured in that Rockets’ game last year, he was controlling pace. He can guard three even four positions in extreme small ball, rebounds defensively and offensively, passes really well with great vision, is getting better at finishing, is getting better at making open threes.

I think we’ll see him as a +1.5 to +2.0 RPM player this year.

Mature and improve his shots. If he stays healthy, he could lead NO to the playoffs.

Lonzo will go on a hot streak and Lakers haters will be all over the AD trade. Then followed by a cold streak where Lonzo haters will call him a bust.

Overall, his shooting percentage goes up and has many highlight passes, defense and shots. In other words, like last year but better.

I think that he will share job of running the offense with Jrue, so I think his APG will not be as high. I expect Lebron, Russ, Trae and Lowry having more assists per game

i think zion and brandon ingram would get the nod for 2 & 3rd best pels as lonzo hasnt showed a commitment to be 100% more agressive on the offensive end, his defense to me is his strong point, but on the offensive end him being pass first makes defenses slack off him making it almost 5 on 4 defensively, if he chooses to score a little to make the defense honest he can change my opinion.

Lonzo is 4/16 so far combined in both preseason games

What's with the hype about his shot? He's still going to be a huge negative on offense
