The Houston Rockets have waived Anthony Bennett.
Bennett needs to undergo surgery on his knee.
Bennett was the No. 1 overall pick in 2013 and had been attempting a return to the NBA.

why would a team sign a guy who has proven for years he cant play NBA basketball? its strange that teams are still giving him chances. its not like he's going to spontaneously be two or three times better at basketball. thats the jump he needs to make to be worth a roster spot
