Curry and Lebron would be the most unstoppable pick and roll in history.

Curry and LeBron would be the ultimate duo. LeBron kills it with shooters. Give him the best shooter in basketball history and it's over.

Its harder for bigs to impact games on offense cause you have to feed them the ball.
Without knowing the rest of the roster Curry/Lebron is much easier to have a better team.

Remember that Peak KG missed the playoffs due to bad teammates.

This is my reasoning as well. Even a pairing as ridiculous as KG-Kareem can be let down by limited perimeter players. It's just easier to fill in the blanks around a LeBron-Steph pairing.

I'll take KG and Kareem. Would be the greatest defensive front court ever

Like others have said, a Kareem/KG pair could.potentially underwhelming if one has **** playmakers at guard.

With LeBron/Steph you just need approximately starting caliber players at every other position and you're still likely to get to the finals.

But seriously i think people are really exaggerating the whole “they need a good guard to pass them the ball” any mediocre point guard is capable of dumping it to Kareem down low and the rest he can do himself. You’re talking about the GOAT big man scorer more or less. And people are way underselling how massively better Kareem/Kg would be on defense. Lebron and Curry’s offense is surreal, i get it. But depending on the supporting cast they don’t guarantee you a good or even average defense with just them.

What happens if the other team throws hard doubles at Kareem and forces your mediocre perimeter to create something?

You could build an elite defense around LeBron and Steph without another All-Star - let's say Rob Covington, Marc Gasol (current iteration), and FVV for example. I don't think you can get to an elite offense with a similar level of perimeter around Kareem and KG.

This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

It's not that easy though. Kareem proved he can lead nice offense with terrible guards, he would do fine with mediocre ones. You forget to mention that hard doubles against 7'2 smart guy is not easy. I mean, look at Lakers roster in 1977 playoffs and Kareem still averaged ridiculous numbers while Lakers still played at +0.9 rORtg without thier main ball handler and with guards who couldn't bring ball on the floor.

You can create ATG offense around Kareem and KG pretty easily, you only need shooters and one decent PG. That's not more than what you said, defenders aren't easier to find than shooters.

Kareem KG pretty easily. It’s far easier to find a mediocre starting point guard and two defensive wings than to find a frontcourt like that.

In a fantasy draft I’d take Curry Lebron. In real life, Star bigs are the most valuable asset in the game

Kareem and KG step on one another way too much.
