Woj & Lowe: Potential bidding war for Kyle Lowry

Post#1 » by Yeezus_ » Fri Oct 11, 2019 2:21 am

Zach Lowe insinuates that if the Raptors get off to a shaky start and explore trade possibilities for Lowry that it could create a potential bidding war between teams. Most because he plays extremely well off the ball ands fits with any superstar.

Woj agrees with him and says thats why the $31M extension made a lot of sense. It gives other teams more than a 1 year rental if they acquire him.

He has been down on the team overall so it's no surprise this is like the third time he's brought up Lowry for the trade deadline.

I spat on the floor when they mentioned the Clippers being a possible trade partner.

I trust Masai...if he trades Lowry then we're likely getting some good assets in return that could accelerate the rebuild.

Clippers are going to beg for Gasol, and Masai is going to hang up on them

I’ve never exhibited any ESP as far as I know but I’m 100% certain that any Clipper deal would not include draft picks.

I think they have just 1 pick left to trade.

They mentioned Minny probably being interested... I'm guessing in terms of matching salary that they'd offer Wiggins, not sure who else on that squad would work?... Other teams can probably offer better, hopefully.

Miami, Denver, Minnesota, Orlando, Detroit would all be interested too.

Honestly i can see any team looking to take the next step want Lowry because he can fit in any situation and role.

What is a good package for Lowry look like? A star Wing? A prospect? Draft picks?

**** off to the Clippers. I'll take picks form some other team though. I've seen what Masai can do with draft picks and the more kicks he has at the can the better.

Think it's more likely we're a top 2-3 seed by Jan than getting off to a rocky start. Masai wants to deliver a respectable title defense. We have a deep roster like always. Lowry isn't going anywhere.

I swear if this turns into another situation where the player forces a trade.

What the hell is Chris Paul doing in that video? We are not taking on that contract nor are we better moving forward with him.
