OKC has too much talent if they stay healthy to get a good enough draft pick, we’ll see if that happens. SGA’s 24 points look nice, especially with him shooting 4/8 3PT, interesting.

Yeah so good to see Shai looking this good. He's so good.

It's true, if OKC had a bench they'd be a lock for a playoff seed in the West. As is, it'll depend on health if they're in the fight or not. Their future is looking great though.

ok, let's not get carried away there, Mike Smith

Ainge has had like 100 draft picks up there in Boston and their best player is now Kemba, a FA who signed at a discount because nobody else really wanted him

Presti [or whoever succeeds him] still has to hit in the draft

As for CP-Gallo-Shai of course I'll be cheering for them, good Clippers all
but seriously, folks, I wouldn't want to be OKC

unless they trade for Blake and DJ
now that would be some serious s**t

don't laugh
it could happen!!!

Eh, that goes for every team ever, whether they focus on the draft, free agency or building through trades. Everyone has to hit it until they hit it. Some teams are much better positioned than others though, and OKC is the best positioned team for the next 7-10 years, and it's not that close.

Presti doesn't even have to hit it in the draft, he has a lot of assets to get in when the next star goes on the block. So yeah, Ainge also failed to get Kawhi, George, Butler, AD when they hit the trade block. But he was by far the best positioned to make it happen.

If you're looking for guarantees of success, that doesn't exist. That doesn't mean you have to take the nihilistic approach that nothing matters and picks don't mean anything. Having more/better assets puts you in a better position, that much we should be in agreement. What happens next will depend an what you do with them, and (largely) on pure dumb luck.

If Jerome can become a steady contributor, that could change EVERYTHING!

Damn, wasn't able to watch the game in the end, how did everyone look? Watching the boxscore and some highlights now, looks like Kawhi was amazing running the offense, 6 assist in 11 minutes? if he's improved his playmaking like that it'd mean a lot.

Looking like it wasn't Jerome or Mann's night though yeah? why's Patterson playing 12 minutes when Mfi needs to get out there Doc?

Just can't wait for the season to start tbh

I was in and out on it, but Harrell [+11] started and played a lot of his minutes vs Jokic [-7]. :D

Zubac was a team-worst minus-21. :(
