Ah, some things never change.

I'm definitely with those who preach patience, but I am so happy to be watching Bulls basketball again, particularly when I believe that the team will actually be trying to win games. Keep the premature hot takes coming. I may (and probably do) disagree, but it's great to see so many fans engaged again. Preseason may suck, but it doesn't suck nearly as much as the offseason.

Oh I am too but do t expect many to trudge through bench lineups on a Friday night. YouTube highlights will be enough for me, I’ll spend time with the kids tonight instead.

So... i said in an earlier post wer need to revisit expectations for Lauri. He is likely not going to be the multiple all star we hoped during the upside of his rookie season.

But now i am seeing terms like "role player" being used. I don't buy that either. I hear that term and think of bench 3 point specialists. I think he is much more valuable than that.

Yeah I was super excited to watch, and was considering right before game time which streaming service to re-up so I could watch between Playstation Vue, YouTube TV, Sling or Hulu live, and then realized that would effectively be spending 40 bucks to watch Boylen screw around with the bench guys. I'll wait til opening night when my enthusiasm will be matched by the product.

if it cost me an incremental $10, much less $40, I would not be watching them now.
Until the actual truth is more important to you than what you believe, you will never recognize the truth.

Early yet. He has played 2 seasons and is 22. He does need to work on distribution and post ups if he is to reach the high hopes.

I don't know why everyone keeps ragging on him about his passing. That's one part of his game he DOESN'T need to improve on. In fact, passing has been one of the few bright spots for him in this preseason.

Ballhandling, post-ups, go-to-moves. That's the holy trinity for Lauri.

Other than that, I also need to know why he's looking so slow and clunky again, even though he apparently dropped some weight in the offseason. Watced a few rookie season games to refresh my memory and Lauri moved like a different player back then.

You don't wanna see Lauri on another team winning with a playmaking point guard. He went up against Zion Williamson, the best finisher maybe ever and Zion has quick enough feet to guard anybody was able to stay in front and hold his ground against Lauri.

I expect better from what this board tells me.

I heard the word all star and everything.

People who know the game and watch Lauri can tell you Lauri's capable of being an all star.
