Yeah, this past year he was very consistently a power forward, but it was recent enough that I was okay cheating a little. :)

If hypothetically Giannis and Siakam played on the same team — you know, like in an all-star game — I am very curious to see how they would be situated, considering Giannis is better at both.

Keyword "favorite" rather than who I think are best at each position. Otherwise, MJ, Lebron and Hakeem are locks.

PG - Magic Johnson
SG - Joe Dumars
SF - Larry Bird
PF - Dirk Nowitzki
C - David Robinson

Defense would suffer, especially against wings but it'd be fun to watch.

AK47 was really good in his day, but he might be even better today given the current environment. 6'9, can guard multiple positions, awesome help defender, can shoot 3s, run the floor and make plays with the ball.

PG - John Stockton
SG - Jeff Hornacek
SF - LeBron James
PF - Karl Malone
C - Hakeem Olajuwon

Without those 5
PG - Allen Iverson
SG - Tracy McGrady
SF - Vince Carter
PF - Andrei Kirilenko
C - Rudy Gobert

A bit biased towards my team but I tried to not put everyone in there.

Even if this was remotely true, what difference does it make?

Yeah, show me better point guards than Walt Frazier. Show me better scorers than Adrian Dantley. Show me better centers than Artis Gilmore.

Yeah I thought this thread was about favorites not building a team to compete in the 2019-20 NBA season. :D But that team would be a strong title favorite regardless.

My favorite loaded lineup is

Magic
Jordan
Bird
Hakeem
Kareem

My favorite fanboy player lineup would be

Westbrook
Jordan
Carmelo (prime please)
Rodman
Hakeem

Bench:
Ty Lawson or Doncic
Dwyane Wade or Brandon Roy
Omer Asik (shut up! I loved that guys defense)
Paul George or KD
Dirk, Duncan or LMA

You’ll notice that some players here that I’ve called overrated, I am actually a huge fan of. On the other side of things, some players that I call far underrated like Kobe, Isiah, I absolutely despised. But these are my “loaded” and “favorite player” lineups.

After the Bulls, I’ve been a huge fan of the Nuggets, Blazers, Spurs and Mavs over the last two decades in particular. They play basketball the right way and have had some admirable franchise players.

I liked him two. Also liked Roy Hibbert, Joel Pryzbilla and even the spare Greg Stiemsa. Give me the big physical rim protector. I know they are essentially extinct now, but much like the also extinct pass-first point guard I still love them.

Good picks. I thought that I was the only weirdo who appreciated Hibbert. His downfall, like Joakim’s, was quick. I don’t know what it is about declining defensive centers..... Perhaps it’s because athleticism is such a big part of defense. Now that bigs must move around the court so much, they tend to be more injury-prone.

What surprised me about Asik is that whenever he was on the court, the opposing team eventually turned into a jump shooting team. I’ve haven’t really seen that from other centers. It’s too bad that he couldn’t catch a pass.

Though the Chicago Bench mob was a fairly loaded defensive squad, I believe that Asik was a big reason that they had such impressive defensive statistics.
