That's the movie.

Haha, it’s certainly a big chunk. Makes me want to go back and watch the series finale just so I can watch him get lit up. Pretty good performance by Jesse Plemons. Between that one and his turn in an episode of Black Mirror he’s cornering the market on creepy performances.

Okay. I’m going to watch something scary with the wife and kids gone. Anyone recommend Hereditary? It’s up next.

Robert Forster's last role. He passed away today.

Remember thinking Forster was going to go on a huge run after Jackie Brown came out (not a post-Pulp Fiction Travolta moviestar run, but something at least interesting), but the guy got so few good roles.

Damn.

I remember thinking he didn't look great in the movie but I just charged it to the game after I had to get used to looking at Jumbo Todd.

Spoiler:
I thought there would be more involvement with the cops.

It was well done and didn't really feel like a breaking bad episode, which is good

Todd is top 10 fattest people to ever be in a movie

It wasn't necessary, but I'm glad I saw it
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

El Camino

Spoiler:
Anyone know why was he such a stickler over the $1800? Felt super petty to need to prove a point to a dude that you won’t ever interact with again.

I dont know that any post-Breaking Bad material would ever be "necessary." I really enjoyed El Camino.

The guy gets it done. He was also good in Game Night.

Plemons is good is almost every role. Enjoyed him in Fargo.

Seriously, no Succession talk? That was an outrageously good episode.

Do we think the rest of the Roy's like cousin Greg? Something that came into my head just now.

Some thoughts on Joker:

Spoiler:
Thoroughly enjoyed it, though the "brilliant" takes were a little much for me. Phoenix was probably the best casting choice for the role, but my one issue with his take on the character was that they took the entire mental illness aspect of him to a level that made him look too much like a complete buffoon at times. Yeah, the joker is supposed to be broken/insane, but there's still a calculated evil to his personality, and that seemed entirely absent even at the end scene where he just ends up kind of stumbling into his unintended goal(s). But I suppose the movie is more an homage to Ledger's joker than it is an actual film in the Batman universe (which given DC's recent track record, is completely fine by me). Soundtrack was wonderful and fitting. And if anything there were so many scenes that just made you feel so uncomfortable which is a testemant to Phoneix's trademark acting style.

The laugh alone will be stuck in my head for a good long while. Haunting.

I was loving season 2 but I’m a few episodes behind now. Is season 2 still going?

Any It’s Always Sunny lovers? They still got it if you ask me, Thunder Gun 4 was a great episode.
