GTS Summer Edition

Guys, we are going to try a new concept for GTS.

In the next couple weeks I will post the top 30-40 free agents this summer. once i list the players, if there is anyone you would like to add to the list please propose it on this spread.

For everyone you guess right, for which team a certain player signs with, you will get 3 points. For everyone that signs with the Jazz that you guess right, you will get 7 points. We will add this total to the start of the 2019-2020 GTS contest.

This will give us some more talking points and activities to watch during the summer slow down period.

Why can't it be a summer GTS rather than having it be added to the beginning totals for next seasons game? Having people start with an advantage will probably hinder participation. I like the concept as a summer event, just not real keen on it counting towards next years GTS.

I don't think it will give such a big advantage--I think it's going to be hard to guess who signs where. Not that many points will be earned, imho. Besides, the way JazzfanWA dominated this year's competition, we'll need all the help we can get. I noticed that in the end, the difference between the top 2 and the rest of the field at the end of the contest is quite substantial, so this might actually help make the competition more close.

Rules up until some one signs you can continue to update and change your teams. Once it is announce that player is locked. If you want to add someone I don't have please list the name and position and I will add it to the official list.

Correct guess is worth 3 points, correct Jazz guess is worth 5 points. Correct guess means you correctly guess the team the player will play for in 2019-2020.
