Jayson Tatum, 2.5 preseason games played, 38 FGA, 3 assists.

He did better in the more competitive Charlotte game I thought - took rhythm shots, didn't force much. It's these blowouts where he turns into Kobe.

Kanter can't move his feet as well as Theis. His post game doesn't really jibe with what we do on offense either. The Monroe comparisons aren't far off. R.Williams will learn positioning. Just keep giving him reps.

I like this team. Marcus is doing Marcus things, Kemba gets buckets with low maintenance, JB is turning into an elite defender. Jayson is.. driving more?

Really like the rooks, too. Edwards is a steal, GWill will be a 10 year role player. Waters is definitely playable.

I've enjoyed this team more in the last 2 preseason games than at any point last season. We have excised the cancer.

Theis is the best fit with the starters.

Problem is he's physically outmatched against a lot of Cs. Can't get too high after seeing him against Bamba and Martin.

not worried about kanter, he'll find a way. i dont think people are giving him time to come to terms with coming off the bench HERE. no doubt, all summer and when he signed he thought the spot was his. he would be starting in portland until nurkic is back at least, and that's not a given that he couldn't have longer. give him time to adjust.

I get both arguments; however, this year I’d rather have him locked up so he can play without it over his head. I was cool with gambling smart on the RFA market, but with Brown I’m not.

But it’s moot since we don’t know what he’s asking for.

If it’s max or nothing at all, then yeah, play out in RFA. But given that this has been an on-going discussion, one should be led to assume that he’s not gunning for max money.

I think Semi may lose his minutes if he continues to play like this. Maybe Romeo will take his place? We'll see I guess.

Should be a lot of Romeo and Grant in the 2nd half. Hopefully they don't waste too much time on Strus and 2-center line-ups.
