We will win some and lose some. It will be a fun season but ultimately we will not win a championship.

53 wins

2) Will we make the playoffs this year? If yes - what seed will we be?

Yes, 3rd seed

3) Who will be our top 4 leading scorers, and what will their PPG be?

Jimmy Butler 18.7 ppg
Justise Winslow 15.2 ppg
Bam Adebayo 14.8 ppg
Tyler Herro 12.3 ppg

4) Who will be our best overall new addition (new at Miami)?

Jimmy Butler

5) Who will be our best overall young player (not including Dion)?

Bam Adebayo

6) Which player will make the biggest improvement from last year?

Bam Adebayo

7) Who will be the biggest disappointment?

James Johnson hardly plays

8) What trades will we end up doing during the year (or even before the season starts)?

Move Dion in some lateral move just to get rid of his whining when he loses mins to Tyler Herro.

9) What will be the biggest surprise of the season? (positive or negative or both)

Herro becomes a rotation player. Dion is healthy and plays well.

10) What will our board posters write about Spo once this season is over?

Same thing they write every year, Spobot, player not getting minutes needs minutes etc

11) Predict a nice/interesting statistical nugget you can see happening with the team or a player.

Justise is only player to average his ppg, rpg, apg and 3pt%.

12) Predict the weirdest moment of the season.

Dion tirade in media over benching.

13) Predict a RealGM Heat-board development you expect to see with a long time poster/s.

Meh

14) What will you consider a success/failure this year?

Either making a leap with a proper orca or not jeopardizing the chance to do so in the off season is a success. Failure is doing the opposite

15) What will be the biggest factor to impact our success or failure this year?

Youth actually being committed to and living up to promise

16) Bonus playoff question - How far will we get in the playoffs and how will our season end?

2nd round. 4-2 loss

I feel pretty good about this prediction with JJ getting banished, Dion looking fit and healthy, Herro already looking the business to take his mins, Bam showing up and analysts predicting a 3rd seed. Justise my biggest concern but starts slow

1) How many wins will the Heat have in the 2019-2020 season?

46-47 wins

2) Will we make the playoffs this year? If yes - what seed will we be?

Yes, 4th or 5th seed

3) Who will be our top 4 leading scorers, and what will their PPG be?

Jimmy Butler 20 ppg
Justise Winslow 14 ppg
Tyler Herro 13 ppg
Goran Dragic 12ppg and Bam Adebayo 12 ppg

4) Who will be our best overall new addition (new at Miami)?

Jimmy Butler

5) Who will be our best overall young player (not including Dion)?

Bam Adebayo

6) Which player will make the biggest improvement from last year?

Bam Adebayo

7) Who will be the biggest disappointment?

Dion Waiters

8) What trades will we end up doing during the year (or even before the season starts)?

Dion Waiters trade

9) What will be the biggest surprise of the season? (positive or negative or both)

Herro gets in the RoY conversation. Dion gives us the Hassan 2.0 behavior with the coach and locker room.

10) What will our board posters write about Spo once this season is over?

The majority will always say negative things to say about Spo because it is just an easy thing to do.

11) Predict a nice/interesting statistical nugget you can see happening with the team or a player.

Winslow will give us a solid 14ppg, 5apg, 5rpg average.

12) Predict the weirdest moment of the season.

Butler calls out Dion Waiters and UD has to intervine.

13) Predict a RealGM Heat-board development you expect to see with a long time poster/s.

Iggy has a bounce-back season and reverse-jinx with his posts.

14) What will you consider a success/failure this year?

Success will be if we make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs and we have a tough 7 out series with one of the top EC teams. Failure, if we barely make the playoffs and we get dispatched in 4 games.

15) What will be the biggest factor to impact our success or failure this year?

Health and continuous improvement will be our biggest success/failure factor.

16) Bonus playoff question - How far will we get in the playoffs and how will our season end?

We will have 2nd round exit in a 4-3 series.

1) How many wins will the Heat have in the 2019-2020 season?

48

2) Will we make the playoffs this year? If yes - what seed will we be?

Yes, 4th seed

3) Who will be our top 4 leading scorers, and what will their PPG be?

Jimmy Butler - 22 PPG
Justice - 14 PGG
Bam - 15 PPG
Dragic - 13 PPG

4) Who will be our best overall new addition (new at Miami)?

Jimmy Butler, obviously

5) Who will be our best overall young player (not including Dion)?

Tyler Herro, but Nunn is a very close 2nd

6) Which player will make the biggest improvement from last year?

Bam Adebayo

7) Who will be the biggest disappointment?

Not counting Dion, I would say Duncan Robinson if Spo keeps feeding him minutes

8) What trades will we end up doing during the year (or even before the season starts)?

Dion and/or JJ for a big or shooter

9) What will be the biggest surprise of the season? (positive or negative or both)

Positive - Meyers Leonard and KO will be extremely efficient this season
Negative - Winslow will regress as a shooter

10) What will our board posters write about Spo once this season is over?

"GOATltra"

11) Predict a nice/interesting statistical nugget you can see happening with the team or a player.

1. Tyler Herro will lead all rookies in the NBA for 3s made this season
2. Despite Butler being the leader in PPG for the team, we will have a different leading scorer in MAJORITY of games this season

12) Predict the weirdest moment of the season.

Meyers Leonard will be 2nd in 3's made on this team

13) Predict a RealGM Heat-board development you expect to see with a long time poster/s.

HEATlanta will eat a lot of Herro crow

14) What will you consider a success/failure this year?

Success: Make the Playoffs and beat the Sixers in a series, hopefully making the ECF.
Failure: Not making the Playoffs at all

15) What will be the biggest factor to impact our success or failure this year?

Injuries but it won't be as much of a factor as previous years due to our depth. If I had to pick another, the unification of our team and coaching/personnel/management is key. None of that Dion BS.

16) Bonus playoff question - How far will we get in the playoffs and how will our season end?

Honestly, 2nd round exit, depending on seeding but optimistically ECF.

I feel my '43' bid was realistic at the time, but the play by the rookies has surprised me. Still, a 43-39 season is an improvement of 4 wins over last season, good enough for 6th place. Again, I'd love to be wrong. 52 wins would be crazy fun. Make me wrong please.
