I got so used to people on this board spelling "Brogdon" wrong that now when I see discussion of "Bogdan," I think they are spelling "Brogdan" wrong.

Yeah if GS wants to do Russell for Hill/Ersan/Robin +picks then I’m all ears

Oh to me the move is Redick once the pelicans are eliminated. Upgrade over brogdon and a simple amazing finishing move....a pick and youngsters could accomplish it. He'd be like the ultimate sidekick to bledsoe.

Redick can eat my ass. Will never advocate bringing his chilly boy self back to the Mil.

Redick is a top 5 SG and would be a great acquisition.

youd be pissed getting traded to Mil in the thick of winter then having to play with Monta have it all Ellis and Brandon Jennings

I'm with Em on this one, except replace "my (Em)" with "my (Chones)."

Maybe it's the old Buck pessimist in me but I'm not completely happy with our roster. It has little to do with losing Brogdon despite being perhaps his biggest stan. It has more to do with the overall talent level of this team being capped. Barring unforeseen jumps from a DDV or Brown we really have nowhere to go but down. Perhaps Giannis makes another jump or Bled figures the playoffs out. But the chance of that happening is not great outside of Giannis. Even with him becoming even better the rest of the team is worrisome. A drop off due to age seems more likely than any meaningful improvement from the rest of the roster. Also hate that we have litter to no cap flexibility in the trade market. Horst's drafting has been sub par at best and could really hurt this team in the long run.

I could even be talked into the risk of CP3. Look Giannis is amazing and maybe he is enough to win us a chip. But the past has shown you really need to all NBA caliber players to win it all. Last years Raptor team was the exception. But the there timing was extremely lucky with Klay's injury. Last year was probably our best chance but Giannis wasn't ready for the moment. I could guarantee he will be now. This year I think we should have a real shot. Sixers don't scare me all the much. Don't think their giant line up works. Lakers and Clips will struggle with fit for a bit. But after this year I think our odds will steadily decline.

CP3 could work well if he bought into Bud ball, but wed have to basically gut the roster to make the math work to bring him in. I rather keep our depth and make a smaller move for an instant offense guard

Really though I would like to go after a guy like Bogdan. Someone youngish coming off the bench perhaps blocked from playing time by starter. A guy like that could significant increase in production with more playing time and better fit. there is a chance he doesn't work out like I hope. If it does though I see another player with Midd like production. How about Gallo from the Thunder. Another borderline all star who fits our needs. There are moves that could improve our starting talent. That's what gets you the chip in most years.

Yeah I'm with you there. Don't really like Cp3 as a target because of the contract. Just saying I could be talked into it. Most here at like it's a no brainier to say no.

He's not even the best SG on his team assuming Jrue classifies as one.

Watch the Bro Bible “MTV Cribs” style video tour of his NYC house. I don’t want his prissy Louis Vuitton, Dumbo penthouse ass anywhere near Giannis.

Man I hate sound like one of those armchair GMs. I am going to so please bear with me.
Horst has done a great job with cap clearing trades. He even added value in Hill. He has given up little as possible cleared Hammond mistakes so I don't think he should be fired or anything.
On the other hand his drafting leaves a lot to be desired. There still plenty of time for DDV and DJ to improve. But just looking back at my draft crushes at time and I see missed opportunity. First Derrick White instead of Dj. This one is big imo. Dj was half between productive older player and young upside player. With White suddenly Bled becomes much more expendable. He is good defender and much better shooter. I also liked Ferguson as boom or bust guy. I think he has shown much improvement from his rookie year. Still like his upside.
Also Lonnie Walker instead of DDV. This is far from decided as both players basically missed last year due to injury. But Walker has a ceiling of difference maker. These are the guys e liked but there are many others who would raise the talent level of the team. Guys like Huerter or Collins. Hindsight is 20-20 of course. But so far his drafting is one thing I don't like. I could see both Dj and DDV becoming solid role players. I just think Horst should of been swinging for the fences.

John Collins was the no brainer pick but our brain trust at the time consisted of Kidd and Thorn so ill give Horst a pass on DJ. Horst worst move IMO was allowing Lasry in the war room and leaking our draft board which legit cost us a 1st round pick. I also wanted Lonnie Walker but im slowly becoming a fan of Donte I think he ends up having the better career of the two if both stay healthy.
