That's a flaming hot take.

If you gave me 150 games from Kawhi/Geroge I'd put money on it.

No risk of 150 games from those two.

I don't put much stock in the NBA regular season for non Bucks games but I'll probably watch both ESPN games tonight.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lowe had Windhorst on his podcast and apparently he's already in Lebron apologist mode. Lowe pointing out the Lakers were basically the Pelicans 2.0 last night (AD running a one-man show). Windhorst goes on about how the defense hinges on Dwight and JaVale (uhhh...) and how they're still a "player or two away". I'm already sick of the circus, and it hasn't even begun yet.

I saw Anthony (Giannis with a jumper) Davis really clank some shots last night....including some air balls.

Not ideal.

The Lakers are a player or two away from being a player or two away.

i mean, it's the first game of the season. on a new team in a new city... probably a little nervous.

it's gonna take more than that for me to start questioning anthony (giannis with a jumper) davis

Premature to launch questions, but not too early to raise concerns imo

Where are the official heights, dammit? I want to know how tall Bledsoe is without shoes. It's also funny that Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard are the same height now. Also, D-Howard is looking thin.

Yep, I thought Dwight looked smaller. He seemed to be moving well, but looked like a guy who had missed a lot of basketball- I think he'll be more helpful for them than I expected him to be (assuming he's truly fine to be a role player).

LeBron just needs Giannis to take the team over for him & move into a mentorship role. Rich Paul is on standby to redact his AD>Fr34k declaration.

Is Danny Green the Lakers best player?

I have no idea why AD would sign with the Lakers this summer

Lebron is starting to look his age and he's not getting any younger, so that lives AD with what? Kuzma and some guys, an amateur organisation that is basically a mom and pop shop, Jason Kidd hiding in basement, a fanbase with bottomless entitlements and expectations, and the most annoying media in the universe.

**** this **** I'd be running away first chance I got.

Wonder how long it will take for Lebron/AD/the entire Lakers organization to work out that they need Lebron/AD at the 4/5 to maximise their potential.

It speaks volumes that ESPN hasn't published a single "where will AD go in free agency" article or take when he's 1) on a more unproven team than Giannis and 2) one year closer to free agency.

AD will be the biggest hurdle. Not sure why he's so stubborn about this.

Last night would've gotten ugly if he didn't become a flamethrower in the 3rd.

Markkanen could take a big step forward with his added strength.
