Yep. Right now, as most experts have long predicted, the Pelicans have the runaway leader in the ROY race.

14 points on 5/7 shooting (4/5 from 3), 5 rebounds, 2 assists, +11.

He won't win any awards, but my vote for most entertaining rookie goes to Tremont Waters.

And I'm rooting for Melli too. I thought the Raptors could have exploited him on defense, but they didn't.

NAW definitely had the green light yesterday. He took 10 shots (made 1) in only 12 minutes. Maybe he was trying to show off a bit in his hometown but i hope he doesn't turn out to be just a gunner.

think it just speaks to his confidence I wasn't horrified with the selection, most of the shots weren't bad in the confines of how NO wants to get shots up in terms of speed. But NAW could be better about moving the ball in some cases. I 100 percent think its not a thing though. He'll be fine as the season goes and i don't want that confidence to waiver not one bit.

Hachimura debut time. Him, Morant and Zion will be the stars of this draft. All have very realistic All NBA 1st Team potential. I think multiple could win an MVP in the next decade (just stay healthy please!!).

Brandon Clarke isn’t going to be the sexiest player, but my goodness he may be the most useful. +25 in a 2 point game.

Thybulle is an all-defense level defender already, he picked up some early fouls guarding Walker then made an adjustment and was all over him after that. Just a pest, if you beat him he's trying to poke the ball away or bother your shot from behind, incredible defensive player for a rookie.

You should add Michael Porter Jr. He looks great in pre season.

The Heat had more fouls than the Grizzlies and they also only attempted 18 3s so naturally they'll get to the line more.
