I'm officially in on Dwight's redemption arc. He's bought into his role and his energy has been straight up contagious the last two games. Just praying for good health the rest of the season.

If this continues I think he will be more valuable than Cousins to this team. What he's bringing isn't what Cousins does at all. What Cousins does well we have in abundance.

That’s what he’s been his entire career. He’s never been a score first guy asides from the 15’ finals when he was forced to.

Zeller was the only Hornet with a positive ± at +3.

... Howard was a +23 in 23 minutes.

Dwight has looked so much better than he did a couple weeks ago. He probably just needed to shake off the rust. He is much better than JaVale right now, but he probably won't get the starting job.

I'm fine with him coming off the bench. When he's playing good, he'll see minutes. So far, so good with this "new Dwight" thing. Many games left though. There's alot of things to sort out with this new team / new coaching staff. I'm glad to see we're looking good this early. Guys like AD and Lebron will do that. But we have issues and alot of chemistry to sort out.

I think Vogel would be smart to just let things run as is...and don't make changes for a good 20 games or so. As long as there are no horrific issues, just let everything settle.

That sounds like a good plan to me. I keep forgetting that we still have Kuzma coming back too. I can't wait for him to get healthy.

See just give Dwight some time. He's very good defensively even if he doesn't have his insane hops like he used to have.

I think the bench helps him. He’s not as explosive as he was but he can sit and watch the games. Then he can pick apart who is driving where, where the lanes are, how people rebound, etc. He is a hall of fame player based off his defense and rebounding so he’s using his brains to do the dirty work and things he excelled at.

It’s the argument of why Melo would work on a team if he put his mind to it off the bench. He’s a hall of fame scorer, post up threat, and iso guy. If he watched second units and went all out for 15-20 mins a night he would burn the **** out of guys just like Lou Williams. Iverson before him could have did it too had he not had his head in his ass.

He's looking a lot better than I thought he would be. Can get up for lobs, sets his screens, runs the floor, battles for offensive rebounds.

I seriously pray he stays healthy, mentally & physically.

I still want him to start on the bench, if only because playing AD at the 5 and Lebron at the 4 will be absolute terror once Kuz is back. Even though I'm a big Lebron stan, I didn't like him playing PG and roaming the perimeter line last night against young, quick athletic guys.

Is it just me or did Dwight looked like he is slowly getting some of his hops back.

Dwight perfect from the field, double double, 4 blocks and a plus 23...
