4 of 6 featured in the picture from the NFC West.

Brunskill and Sherman also made it. Bosa did not.

Didn't hear the wording myself so I don't know how far down the speculation train to put this. It's probably a zero/nothing.

Have said I'd take a 7th round pick for Beathard and would not expect much back in return (them fielding offers around a 6th seems plausible, though I would be surprised if they'd do that).

I don't hate Gabriel. I was not a big advocate of his coming in to the NFL but he grew on me a little over time. He's not a waste of time player IMO. More than anything, I wouldn't love inheriting his contract and at the expense of a better player for better value.

In March '18, he signed a 4-year $26M contract. That would be devoting, on average, 13.3M to Gabriel and Goodwin if they don't quick deal Goodwin then. I'd pass on the rough math/money territory on that.

I'm going to be really disappointed if the trade deadline passes and beathard is still on the team because we thought he was worth mroe than a 6th.

Amazing video on Niners' defense so far this year. Huge props to my guy Fred Warner.

Mosley has been a huge surprise. Maybe even a revelation. He's been playing very well in coverage, and perhaps underrated, has been aggressive coming up in run support with some big stops over the past couple weeks.

I was thinking about this team as compared to the 2011 Niners team, and I think I may like this version better. The 2011 team was almost certainly more talented, but this team has guys overachieving, something I feel we never got out of Harbaugh. His teams were great because of the talent McCloughan had stockpiled; they would just overwhelm opponents on both sides of the ball. But they couldn't hold up as more and more Baalke picks made their way in. I don't know that Harbaugh's staff ever truly developed a player (i.e., had a lightly regarded player come to the team who turned into at least a solid starter). This FO hasn't hit on their picks the way McCloughan did, but they have been able to find productive players who have fit the system and have vastly exceeded expectations. That's why the team is not only winning, but winning decisively, despite missing arguably their three most important offensive players, what I thought would be their second and third CBs (a position where I didn't think we could afford any injuries). That ability to develop - and, maybe more importantly, scheme around - less physically talented players has been huge for this team to date.
