The rebounding, perimeter defense, and shooting have all looked bottom third of the league level, so I’m not convinced yet this is some juggernaut because of a 4-1 start.
I don't consider much can be taken from the first game of the season given the Lakers' massive roster overhaul in comparison to Kawhi being plugged into an already established group. Further, Utah and Dallas, both playoff teams, were challenges as well. Why are they being overlooked because the Lakers beat them?
The Lakers have the 3rd best defense in the league, the highest point differential, plus AD & LeBron. Don't forget this is a new group, and they're getting more acclimated to eachother with each game. As long as they're healthy, they're going to be a difficult out in the playoffs.
