That has to be a heartbreaker. Amazing finisher though.

Sixers only were in this game because of the lack of both of our starting C's.

Disappointing loss, but it's hard to even be in a game like that with so many guys hurt.

If Hood and or Whiteside are out for long at all this might be hard to stay in the playoff picture. But hopefully they can find ways to get some wins while guys get healthy.

Painful loss but I’d gladly trade the Oregon win for this. Many more games in an nba season and ducks have a legit shot at the Playoff!

Of course the blazers winning too would be the best case!

Meh I was greedy I wanted both :D. This game would have been easier to stomach without the **** injury to Hood one of our key guys injured.

I swear to god we are piling up injuries like it's nothing this **** season.

Weird to think of the upcoming Warrior game on the road as one of the most winnable. Lots of road games to start the season. Hope Portland can stay afloat.

I’m not rooting to lose but if we have too many injuries a great pick wouldn’t be a terrible consolation prize

This team is 3-1 to start the season on the road and 0-2 to start the season at home. Talk about a shocking outcome for a team that usually dominates at home and struggles on the road.

Lmao stop complaining it was a hard fought win. Portland couldn’t win even with the benefit of a trillion calls going their way all night.

I gotta tip my hat to the Blazers tonight for the effort and through most of the game, they really had their way with Philly. Tough finish, but difficult with all the injuries. Look forward to a matchup in which Whiteside, Nurkic, Collins, and Embiid are all available. Cheers and good luck to you guys.

Yeah and you barely pulled a win out of your ass against a team missing both of their starting C's. Go shove it bro stick to your own damn board.

The issue with blowing these games, is it could well take 48+ wins to make the playoffs in the West.

We have to try to at least hover around .500 till we get healthy. Just imagine if we had Nurk/Hassan this game, easy win. We gave up 13 offense rebounds and only got 3 and it seemed they were scoring inside at will. That was the game.

They had something like 80 points in the paint since everyone on their team is a freak of nature and is like at least 6'5" or something it makes it tough. I loathe any team that tanks for 6+ years to build a roster though talk about bull.

Stotts says he thinks Hood got a thigh contusion. But we don't know yet.

Hood interviewed says swollen knee, he hopes he will be good for next game.

Well if it is a contusion looks like it's 2-3 weeks at most. If it's just swollen obviously that is best case scenario a few games at most.

True they didn't have Embiid but still any of Collins, Whiteside, Nurkic, or Gasol would have really helped.

Portland had too many stupid turnovers. Like over and back and stepping over the line on inbounds. They need to learn how to not get lazy when they have a lead.

I think part of the problem was giving the ball to others besides Lillard in the last 2 minutes, I mean Tolliver and Baze both missed some big time buckets that would have been the difference. I am not sure why Lillard was deferring pretty heavily in this one they weren't trying to send 2+ defenders at him to get the ball out of his hands.
