KCP, Dwight and Bradley with efficient games. Bron and Davis did enough. Games like the last 2 show you can win in the league without having to have 3 point shots fall.

Dwight Howard was an awesome 4th quarter. He was locked in. So I was sitting behind the basket on the Lakers bench side. At the start of the 4th quarter someone from the crowd yelled something nasty at Dwight. He tried to tell the security exactly who it was but they didn’t really do anything. He tried telling the ref and he didn’t do anything either. That kinda fired him up. He was everywhere after that. I really think he won us this game. Lebron looked like he ran out of gas in the 3rd quarter.

Fun game to watch.

James tired out. 0-6 from 3 and 5-10 from the line... both places you need your legs for consistency.

Was it the fan behind the basket? I saw something going on when White was shooting those FTs after Dwight leveled him

Yes it was some dude a few rows behind the basket on the left side. I didn’t hear what he said but someone else in the crowd was saying he said something very nasty, I won’t repeat it because I didn’t hear it but according to this dude it was racial. Dwight didn’t get angry or at least didn’t seem like he got angry but he definitely was upset and tried to tell the stadium security exactly who had said it but they just looked at him and did nothing. He was really fired up after that. Yelling after dunks. Yelling after blocks. He even pointed towards that area after one his baskets.

Anyway, it was my first time watching Lebron in person and up close. The dude is phenomenal. Aldridge is a very big dude and Lebron at one point just muscled him out of his way like it was nothing. Unbelievable player. He completely ran out of gas after HT and started taking really bad shots and at one point you could see the rest of the team dropped their shoulders and it affected them. Vogel recognized it right away tho and gave him a little “break”. Vogel was upset the whole game with pretty much everyone. I wonder what J Kidd’s in game role is. He just sat and didn’t say much to anyone. Kuzma..... passenger. Pope is an infuriating player but he two 3 pointers helped us win. I felt bad for Caruso. You could see all he needed was one of his passes to end up as a basket and he would have impacted the game and maybe got more mins. He looked like he was locked in at the moment too.

I noticed Davis’ body language change too when Lebron was taking long jumpers on every possession and dribbling the whole shot clock and shooting a 3 at the end.

All in the all the whole group was kinda professional today. It makes sense after the huge emotional game on Friday night. They found a way to win and that’s a hallmark of a good team. Vogel made the right changes too. He’s really growing on me as a coach.

Games like these have to make you smile as a lakers fan. All the turmoil and drama espn and magic tried to involve us in. But couldn’t be happier with Vogel and this team. Like many have said, we aren’t even playing well and we are winning. We are going to be super scary come playoff time. Love this. So happy for us lakers fan. We have been through hell and now we got ourself a championship contender

Missed the game due to work but I’m hearing Dwight beasted again. He’s turning out to be the X factor that I hoped Cousins could be before the injury.

Agree 100%. I too missed the game, due to obligations. Looked up the box score after it was done, and saw Dwight went 7-7 with 12-13 rebounds. I obviously don't get the real 'flavor' of the game, looking at box scores....but 7-7 with a dozen boards tells me he did really well. His defense has been there. He seems to be getting on fine with everyone.

If this team continues to win, I think Dwight will find this role easier to swallow. Wins man...it just makes it all worth it.

So far so good. Plenty of season left, so I'm gonna continue to hold my judgment until we go through some adversity. Let's see what everyone's made of then.

It feels like this team has another gear it can go to. Considering LeBron typically does a great job pacing himself throughout the year, it's highly likely.

Side note: great road win. In my book, any road win is a good win. But some roads are better than others.

We ought to consider giving Lebron the Chicago game off. I think we can easily beat the Bulls even with him sitting.
