Robin and DJ Wilson for Bertans would be sweet. Insane spacing.

I feel like we need Robin if we are in a playoff series vs Philly. One of Embiid/Horford will be on the court the entire game

Robin is gonna be good, we saw what he flashed in preseason. He just needs to find his rhythm with the team.

Bud will figure out the rotation on the wings. I'm thinking if Mathews doesn't get it going in the next two games. Changes will be made next Thursday at home after a few days off and a full practise on Tuesday.

You might be able to convince me that Robin will be useful....good, not so much

Are we the Lebron Cavs (circa 2010)?

I’m just going to keep monitoring the Trailblazers. If they head towards blowing it up (ala OKC) we could send them Bled+Ersan+DDV+Picks for Dame. They could then trade Bledsoe to Orlando or something for more picks+young talent and then choose to buyout Ersan if they want. That Blazers team looks like it peaked and is on the way down. I’d do everything I could to get Dame on this Bucks team. He’s a legitimate #2 option more so than Bled or Midds.

Yeah... They arent trading Dame. But if they did, we throw everything we have at that.

Basically whatever they want outside of Giannis.

Oh yeah, I’m just saying if they were to go nuclear like OKC we have the contracts to do it. I doubt it would happen, but I also believe Dame only has 3 years of peak level play left and that team’s wheels have already fallen off. I’d give it like a 5% chance of happening as of now lol.

If (and it’s a very big if) that story about a Lillard trade pact was true, then the whole thing gets a lot more interesting.

This portland team is not beating kawhi and the clippers but i don't think they blow it up any time soon. I would love CJ straight up for khris and throw in Indiana's pick. He's the type of scorer we don't have. Maybe they consider it in the past when they needed wing defence but with khris regressing on d, they'd be foolish to do it now.

I’ve been hoping & praying that Prtland would dump Lillard or McCollum to us for years. Those mfs in that front office just won’t give up!

lillard hitting the game winner vs okc is a big reason. People want to see that. It puts butts in seats.

My thoughts at the moment.

Member when the cavs paid people like Larry Hughes, Ilgauskas, Donyell Marshall, Wally Szcerbiak a lot of money?

If Lillard went on the market, our poopoo platter probably wouldn’t be in the top 10 offers Portland got for him.

That mix of guys plus like 3 firsts is probably more than enough, especially if he has a deal with Portland to trade him to a contender like the reports last year had said.

Forget lillard. CJ though could be available to make room for Anfernee Simons. Kid looks legit.

Thought that as well, until I looked at his contract line: He's under contract through age 35 on a super-max for six years at:

$29
$31
$43
$47
$50
$54

Paul Allen passed away. His sister/estate run the team.

I can easily see a suit accountant pointing that contract out, and the Blazers deciding to blow it up and start over. The challenge is we don't have enough young assets necessarily.

I think we all hoped Robin would develop Brook-like shooting range, but they've both been bad so far this year. More "brick brothers" than "splash brothers."

It's probably more likely they'd trade McCollum isn't it? I don't think anyone alive would take McCollum over Dame.

CJ is owed $27, $29, $30, $33 and $35. Not pretty either. So much depends on what you'd get in return for each guy. CJ's contract versus production this season might make him hard to deal.

Their cap and tax issues go away next season, once Hassan and Bazemore's contracts drop off. But at the same time, they've got to convince the locals that they are trying to build a winner.
