The officiating in this game is just strange. The refs seem to just get worse every year.

Are Dame/CJ really scoreless in the 4th after that team meeting stuff?

Beverly seems to have gotten to Dame a bit.

I hate playing against him but he’d be an amazing 6th man for Portland

Go for the inbound steal, foul right away if we don't get it

Beverly gets away with more **** than any player in the league if he was treated like every other player he would foul out before half-time in 70% of his games.

30 to 16 FT's in this game it's amazing this game is so close. Like I said the Blazers get 0 respect from the refs, if we are getting officiating like this every night we are going to have a rough season.

Blazers have lost 3 games already that could have been wins.

23-11 run given up. We are killing ourselves late in games, 4 losses like this so far if I’m not mistaken?

This team needs to get their stuff together, this start is pathetic and going scoreless in the 4th (Dame and cj) really is a bad look after that team only meeting

This type of **** reffing makes me not want to watch the NBA anymore, refs get worse year after **** year. NBA has the absolute worst refs on the planet and they should all be fired.

I was thinking the same just the other day. His BB IQ is extremely high, and already seems to do everything well, beyond just scoring, whereas CJ just makes buckets.

Portland's got to pull themselves together - they've been in every game this season and have blown some significant second half leads. I think this is where we miss Zach on D and Nurkic in general.

The bright side is they’ve mostly been road games. 2 game home stand is gonna be critical momentum going forward

Well if we are giving the team double the FT's every night it won't be a game. So far out of 7 games to start the season we have given the other team in most cases 15 or more FT's more than us.

The fewer games where it's closer on the FT line were Blazer wins.

The more I see Stotts take this **** lying down the more I want a new coach.

Isn’t that common with the blazers due to our 3 heavy offense?

I don’t think we are bad enough to stink but I’m deathly afraid of 41 win territory. But then again If we even stay .500 on these road games to start the year I’ll feel positive about our season.

Every team in the NBA relies heavily on the 3 now so I don't think that really applies. Portland is #16 in the league for 3 point attempts so roughly half the NBA takes more than us.

Houston is #1 in most 3's attempted per game and #1 in most FT's attempted per game.

Shouldn't have called his bluff, and let him walk. His power move to get that extension really pissed me off, regardless of how good or bad he is as a coach. And for the record, I've been saying he sucks for years now. It has been Dame's leadership and will, that has been the key to the Blazers success, despite Stotts.
