The big turning point was that Ryan Saunders benched him for taking dumb mid-range jumpers. Since then, he has mostly cut them out of his game. I have been impressed by how much his passing game has thrived since being forced to drive to the hoop, his vision is way better than expected.

I guess time will tell. I actually hope he does just because I hate the idea of him and his contract being such an albatross around the neck of his team for coming years.

His DGAF attitude has actually been coming in handy at the end of close games. The dude just looks as calm as if it were midway through the second quarter and he doesn’t have a care in the world.

Thibs was the worst possible coach in the world for Andrew. He has always needed someone who instilled confidence in him. Not a military drill sergeant.

Biggest change so far this season is that he is taking way less midrange, long 2's and instead driving more to the rim & more 3's.

% of midrange(including long 2's) shot attempts for Wiggins by season -
14-15: 39%
15-16: 38%
16-17: 39%
17-18: 33%
18-19: 31%
19-20: 20%

That's such a big decline in % of midrange attempts this season which is what everyone wanted to see from Wiggins from a long time..instead he is taking more 3 pointers this ssn (35% of his FGA are 3 pointers now and this is his career best when it comes % of 3PA).

I have said it so many times.
Wiggins didn't touch the ball with Thibs. He was sent to the corner and was asked to be a role player. 42 touches per game and people asked him to produce like a superstar.
With Saunders he averages this year around 65 touches per game.
Wiggins is not a role player. Thibodeau tried to destroy his carreer.
The guy is a scorer, he has the quickest first step in nba and he is clutch. He steps up in big moments.
Thibodeau is the biggest idiot

The increased role and coaching change has clearly been pretty helpful for him, hope he keeps it up. He's way too damn talented to play like he did last season.

Would I be an a**hole if I pointed out that even while scoring 40 pts, he still had below average efficiency? (TS %)

I’m more impress by the 7 assists considering he too often had tunnel vision.

he shot 17/33 which isn't bad at all especially after playing 45 minutes

how is 55% EFG% below average efficiency lol? That's much higher than league average efficiency...infact that's a pretty good efficiency.

No, not bad, but if you include the 4/8 from the FT line, it’s below average.

Wiggins always had some good games from time to time, but he never sustained it. I’ll have too see more good games before I change my opinion.

Talking about TS%. FTs are used possessions.

And who rounds up shooting %?
