It’s good to get a win when nothing is falling on the offensive end. That’s why defense always needs consistent effort. Like Stu says, ‘Your shot may not fall every night, but you can always play D every night.”

What was the final score?
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

Dominant defense again. I wish we'd go away from the 3 and just pound the paint. Defensively we're very good and we're very good in the paint.

He wants to play with Mcgee I can't wait for Rondo return

Rondo is going to come back and screw everything up.

Yeah, I have to believe this team will start shooting better. It makes no sense. Our spacing is good, our shooters are getting good looks, etc.

My theory is that we have a pretty mediocre collection of shooters. The only guy I have confidence that the ball is going in when he shoots is Green, and even he tends to be somewhat streaky.

I think you're correct. But you look at everyone's numbers: LeBron, AD, KCP, Daniels, Kuzma, Bradley: All not even close to their career numbers recently.

We should be better, definitely. But everybody has lulls / slumps, and when you're not that good to begin with they're going to be that much more pronounced. Other than the lack of quality depth, it's the biggest weakness we have. The good thing is, we're playing some of the best defense we've ever played over the past 40 years , maybe THE best, and we have two superstars.

It's still early... I'm not concerned. Averages tend to revert as the set deepens. I'd rather have the team 7-1 while having issues shooting early in the year and shooting well late in the team going into the real season. It will happen.

I like the multiple time outs by coach, until we can figure things out. But vogel needs a better overall gameplan for the small ball teams will undoubtedly employ

That frustrated me a little. With like 6 minutes to play and the Lakers were down to just one time out. Had this gone down to the wire, they could have easily lost this.

Caldwell Pope is utter trash. I can at least give Kuz some time considering he's only getting into the flow of things. Ideally there's a package of KCP, McGee and Kuzma for a PG.
