Embiid is not as good on offense as Kat and Jokic, this is because part of his offense relies on drawing tons of fouls and being stronger than his defender to score in an easier way. Against certain defenders in playoffs, he struggles, his offense is not diversified enough or good enough in the shooting or ball handling department.
The good news is at least you know that if his offense is not working, you have his elite defense, so he is always going to have a high impact.

KAT has never impressed in the playoffs offensively anymore than Joel and Joel has always been an excellent scorer his passing has been improving as well but i certainly dont think either one of Kat or jokic is clearly superior as offensive players than Joel.

He has sick stats after 4 games but I don't think a guy deserves mention in this discussion until we get a prolonged stretch of excellence. KP is a fire rim protector and ridiculous shooter, but let's talk about him after 20 games at least.

Clearly between Jojo, Joker, and KAT.
Embiid has massive advantage as a defender and that is his argument for best center. Stats aside, Embiid has yet to prove he has the BBIQ to be an offensive force on the same level as Jokic. Jokic is already an offensive force that is unstoppable in the playoffs as coaches throw everything they can at him. Embiid has been a guy you can gameplan against in the playoffs and hasn't unlocked a level that allows him to strategize against defenses that trick him into his worst habits. In a serious game, Embiid has yet to prove he can consistently make a superstar impact on offense.

KAT is not the super genius passer that Jokic is, but as an offensive player he is perfect and devastating from everywhere on the floor. We're all watching his defense closely this year to see if he's ready to join this argument. He's been great to start the year and we're all watching his every rotation.

To me the title of best Center in the NBA should belong to Embiid, but he has to actually claim it. We all know he has the most potential, but he's got to show me another level on offense before it clearly belongs to him. Until then it's a super fair argument with Jokic.

1(tie): Embiid. best defensive center in the NBA and a devastating offensive force.
1(tie): Jokic. Unprecedented offensive genius who is surprisingly solid defensively.
3: Towns. Has the talent to leapfrog either of these guys theoretically... but he plays for the Timberwolves.

shoutout to Gobert. Also Anthony Davis if he decides to play more center maybe he's the guy.

hes a 2x all star and has dominated KAT everytime theyve played so far

As clumsy has embiid looks on offense. He’s is still efficient offensively.

I just look at the stats from last season

Towns 24.4 points on 17.1 shot attempts 3.4 assists

Embiid 27.5 on 18.7 Attempts 3.5 assists

Jokic 20.1 on 15.1 attempts 7.3 assists

Essentially embiid makes up for his clumsy offense by going to the line a lot. Plus he gets his team into the bonus earlier as well. That doesn’t even show up on stat or analytics line.

So embiid is as much a force on offense as Jokic and towns. Really the only thing embiid gets knocked down is the games he misses. That a lot of games he misses. But when healthy. That’s a big if. He’s the best center in the nba.

Tough guy Embiid simply cannot stay on the court. 28 minutes? What is he, a 6h player on the team?

He's a career 45% free throw shooter and shooting around 60% the last few years. Not being able to play in the fourth quarter because you will brick free throws is not the way to get placed above Towns, Embiid, or Jokic.

Lol, you mean the guy who led all C’s in mpg last year?

Of the 5 games he played this year, he got suspended at the beginning of the 3rd quarter in 1 and was rested during the 4th quarter of the Celtics game because it wasn’t close. That’s all you’re seeing in that number.

Helps when you can take one out of every four games off minimum as he has his whole career....

If that were the case (the way it is for Kawhi) then you’d be onto something. But the last 2 seasons he’s been an every game starter for the first 3/4 of the season before suffering end-of-season injuries (in one case a freak orbital fracture). So not really the same thing.

Jokic leads KAT H2H, 10-6, despite KAT outperforming him 24ppg-16ppg, in those matchups.
