Defense with Curry and DLO wasn't going to work out.

BTW....this makes DLO getting traded a must. Based on even the few games we saw...playing the two of them together...awful defensively.

I think 4 games is too small a sample size to make a final determination. I would like to see a bigger sample size to determine how well, or poorly, Steph, and D-Lo mesh together. And a fair sample size to see how Klay fits in. Unfortunately we may not get that opportunity.

The GSW tankathon just got even better tonight. Pel and Knicks won!

NYK should play Mavs every night!

A Wiseman and Paschall development may cause some pause for that deal, and only for that deal

Obviously you trade the pick for Giannis if that deal could be made. But it's a long shot.

Otherwise, it may be worth using the pick, hoping to get a perennial all-star who will last beyond the Splash Bros and Draymond core.

What could Burks bring back in a trade?

Maybe a first rounder which would be in the teens to the twenties?

He would have been a useful piece on a playoffs team. But then he could probably get a better contract for next season than the minimum.

We gotta trade him before he gets injured.

Maybe we ship out GR3, WCS, and Burks for 2nd rounders and we decide not to ship out Russell.

We somehow get the #1 pick and keep it to take Wiseman.

Are unable to trade the 17 million tpe for a singular player but instead a package. Maybe the Mavs want to free up space for a max slot and trade us Delon Wright and Seth Curry with us also sending out 2nd rounders.

We sign Jae Crowder with the MLE.

Bring back Iggy and Bogut on vets minimums.

C Wiseman, Looney, Bogut
PF Green, Paschall, Smailagic
SF Thompson, Crowder, Igoudola
SG Russell, Curry, Poole
PG Curry, Wright, Bowman

Any chance if he keeps up his play, Burks has played his value into a protected 1st?
Nice scoring punch off the bench can be valuable to playoff teams. He's been pretty solid. 14 ppg on good percentages in 25 minutes.

I'd actually like to keep Burks for next year, but he may price himself out if he stays healthy.

You forgot to add Spellman and Evans; we picked up both of their contract options for the 20-21 season.

Russell will be gone. He doesn't complement Steph at all.

Burks is the closest thing we've had to Barbosa , since he left.

Really? I loved Barbosa. Burks? Meh, with the occasional taste of throw-up in the back of my mouth. I don't see Burks being part of a contending rotation going forward.

Burks has had some good games. He used to punish the Warriors while on the Jazz, before his injuries.

I think he's a better scoring option off the bench than the guys they had during the run like Cook, Clark and certainly Livingston and Iggy their last two seasons.

I don't know if he can defend. He's got the size that Clark and Cook doesn't have.

19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, 1 steal per 36 minutes so far this season.

That's good bench production.

I've never liked the dude, but I have to admit he's been good.

Well, you're right. I'm stuck on the player he's been in prior years, but he's been good this year. Maybe this is the change of scenery that he needed. It would be outstanding if he could be a quality contributor.

But he's likely going to get offers for more than the minimum next year.

NBA ratings are down this season. Big part of it is the Warriors being in all these national games.

Too bad there is no college player with a huge marquee value like Zion last year. Because the NBA would be tempted to rig the draft for the Warriors to get another star, to fill up Chase, which can generate big revenues.

NBA should fix the draft for the Warriors anyways, regardless of where they finish, kind of like them giving the Lakers the #2 pick in 3 consecutive drafts.

NBA Ratings were down last year as well.

2007 we believe Warriors part 2.

Worth it.

Or giving the Pelicans and Cavaliers all those picks for being in terrible markets and losing big players.
