Carmelo Anthony Passes Physical, Signs Non-Guaranteed Deal With Blazers

Carmelo Anthony has passed his physical exam and has signed a one-year deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The deal is non-guaranteed until January.

Anthony will wear No. 00 for the Blazers.

Watched the game vs Nola last night.

Obviously he’s rusty, but if given the chance he should find his way with Portland.

I'm going to be more interested to see how Portland looks with him when they get everyone back. Can't judge him off of last night. Dude literally went from LA to NY to NO and had a shootaround before hitting the court.

I was surprised he tried to bang on dude last night.

Yes, get your shots in. Melo hasn't played in 12 months and hasn't practiced with the team. Lillard was out and McCullum can not carry a team. That was a loss with or without Melo.

POR had a .357 win% pre-Melo. If they stay around that win% going forward people will bang on Melo and make it all about him. But the haters in here are right, the Blazers don't need Melo.... They already suck on their own!
