IDK, this was actually our easiest portion of pur schedule. End of the year is pretty brutal plus as long as you can stay one of the 10 worst teams you still hold a good shot of jumping in that top 4 with the new odds.

I think this is the year we can finally get a good pick and if the ownership would grow a brain and sell by the deadline then were in real good shape to a start of a rebuild

I think this is the year we have a top 5 pick for a few reasons. 1st, blake and rose will probably play only 55ish games. If they don't play we almost can't win.

2nd, we have the hardest SOS the 2nd half of the NBA,. look at out last 30ish games. A ton of western conference games.

3rd, we just aren't any good, the east has gotten better and unless we play the knicks or bulls which we already lost to, we are gonna struggle to find offense against most teams. If blake and rose don't have great games nobody else is dependable night in and night out.

given how little depth we have in playmakers behind blake and rose and their health, we could definitely have an interesting draft season. we're also in a good position to re-build as we have no positional constraints (unless we extend dre long-term) and can just take the best player available.

Yeah, but if we are bad enough to get a top 3 pick, hopefully that's the "rebuild now" signal. That would just be the first year in a rebuild process and we'd likely have a couple of really bad year record wise after that.

Sekou Doumbouya was born on Dec 23rd, if he was born 9 days later he'd be in this upcoming draft. Given what he's doing in Grand Rapids I think one could argue he'd be talked up as #1OA if he was signed to the G-League heading into his draft year and doing what he is doing now.
