I'd do weird things that many would find inappropriate and/or offensive to get Coby.

Sato is an obvious call, Dunn is someone that would be nice role player if you could somehow fix his jumper and then there is the LaVine + Porter for Middleton looming. There is also Abracadabra but I wouldn't want to give up much for him (Sterling?).

I am not touching Porter's hip socket or LaVine.

Zach Lavine has that Corey Maggette bad porn vibe about him. He is a negative team killer. No thanks

Maybe people will stop looking at counting stats when it comes to Wes, and recognize that he is a very good fit.

Are we going into the tax to resign Bogdanovic? Cause otherwise it doesnt maje sense to trade away pretty much the only developing players on the roster plus the Indy pick..... And if resigning him and going into the tax is the plan here why not just go into the tax for Brogdon and keep the young guys?

Its definitely a "go for it move" but honestly I'm not sure how much better it makes us considering it leaves us incredibly thin at PF

Because sometimes when you're a billionaire with a b expert business man you realize you made a mistake with your money and try to rectify the situation.

Considering contract situations I have Donte as the most valuable piece here. We'll be looking at around 60-80m over 4 years to keep him. Yeah Donte alone is worth more than that.

So what happens when the Bucks give Giannis the SuperMax? Are they going to have to go deep into the luxury tax to keep chasing championships? Is it likely they will do that, or are they going to just be Giannis plus a bunch of bums at that point?

Giannis plus a bunch of 'bums' is very likely either way depending how you define 'bums'. Golden State has skewed what a normal championship calibre team looks like. Giannis, a fringe all-star, a fringe not all-star and a bunch of solid role players is realistic. That is very similar to what we have now. It will be interesting how this team is going to fill their roster spots over the years. Horst & Bud have found solid contributers for cheap (Pat, Wes, hopefully Bender). Even guys like Frazier and Wood have had no problems finding NBA teams after being considered not good enough for us. The higher our payroll gets the more important it will be to find these guys.

We’re giving up too much. Might be drinking the Bucks kool aid, but I’d rather have Donte even up over Bogdanovic. For whatever reason I don’t trust Bogdanovic on the chemistry front.
