Cavs Interested In Re-Signing Tristan Thompson

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Dec 2, 2019 6:58 pm

The Cleveland Cavaliers are interested in retaining Tristan Thompson after this season and making him part of the team's growing core, league sources told Chris Fedor of cleveland.com.

Thompson, who has impressed the organization with his hard work, is in the final year of his contract. He will be an unrestricted free agent after this season.

Fedor adds that there has yet to be any "real" conversations between Thompson's camp and the Cavs about a contract extension.

two prior years where he essentially didn't play, and now he's playing every game and balling out?

AND this is a contract year...? who would've guessed.

this sounds like a knicks move. probably max him out, especially if he can play some PF minutes

TT is actually a different man now that he has rid himself of Khloe (or is it the other way round). I am totally surprised myself.

Then again, I doubt if he can keep it up rather than mess it up again as Khloe puts it. If I am the Cavs, I will sell high.

Tristan's agent masquerading as a league source..... hahahahaha. Agent trying to build interest in his client. Good luck with that.
